Loved it!!!
Very friendly... Nice projection... Inexpensive food... Wonderful experience. We drove from Birmingham and stopped to see a movie on the way to the beach. We'll be back. If you found this review helpful, please click "like".
Screen was so dark you couldn't really see the movie.
We love the drive in!! Great prices, awesome concessions and just an overall fun atmosphere to watch a movie
This was a great deal, clean place and the food was ok when it opened, we still go, as it is the only drive in around here. Now it just keeps going down hill, the cost is 8 a person, the food is higher for less, drinks are still free refill . The screens need repainting, bath rooms are hold your breath, and the road going in, is bad need of repair. If they don't do something soon with it you will need a boat to get in and out after it rains. Its sad such a great place going down, you think the owner would visit his place of business to see how its managed, maybe he just don't care. That's why people stop coming, no one wants to go in there on the rough road or price that's the same as a nice walk in. If something isn't done soon it will be another SKYVEIW, Dothan water tower and somtheing else is there now, yes im old and will soon be gone like the drive ins.
Good customer service. Alot of options at the concession stand from pizza, burgers, popcorn, etc. Early movie can be hard to see depending on time of year but the late one is very clear.
Not worth it. The projection is so dim you can hardly see what is showing. The people are rude and the sound over the radio is fuzzy half the time. It is only a dollar or two cheaper than going to the movies so dont waste your time or money, you will feel liike you just need to go again to actually see and hear everything. I really regret going.
Nostalgic and great price. Especially if they have a double feature.
Check them put on Thursday night. 1/2 off or two for one.
It is a clean facility with decent food and they run current movies.
Nice you don't even have to exit your vehicle
Good time
Great
It's a awesome place to watch your movies. But heads up, there are ants from what I've noticed so a blanket on the ground isn't the best idea.
fun place to go you get 2 movies for the price of 1 they just need to change the movies more
I go there for every new marvel movie. Movies are cheap. Not so much the food and drink though. Bring something with you to eat and drink.
Great experience coming from a big city and seeing a drive-in movie theatre. Only seen those in movies.
Love to.go here
Love taking the grandkids. Don't have to worry about them having to sit still. They can play and talk constantly without bothering anyone (but me).
Excellent place for a couple, family or just friends to hang out watch a movie, eat some food and have a good time
Always an exceptional value. x2 movies (military) for $6! Sound quality is decent, and distractions are minimal (as in vehicles, smokers, video/picture quality). You do have to take into consideration it is not the super high definition video or audio, but for $3ish per movie, its a steal for first run movies.
I rounded up from 2.5 stars. It was fun.. problem is screen quality isn't great.. concession customer service was a little irritating. Half way through the movie, I went for a refill and stood there for 5 minutes waiting while one employee helped another moviegoer as 4 other employees mostly ignored me and snacked on food. 5 minutes is an eternity when it's a movie you paid to watch. Would have given 2 stars if it wasn't for the good time I had taking my wife for the first time.
Great place
Family place
I Think Its Drive In so i loved it..
Loved it. Great prices and great staff.
Great place to bring your family.
Great place to go see a movie! Pick up some snacks on the way or visit their concession stand. I like to bring a blanket and chairs and sit outside instead of in the car, it's great for friends and family!
A good family movie under the stars. Good atmosphere, good pizza, popcorn and cheese nachos.
The kids and I always enjoy the drive in; it's a great experience if you have never been.
Greatest theater with radio sound and privacy, this is a perfect place when you can't go to a standard theater with the family. Don't visit when it's raining though
Been here twice love the atmosphere
Nice drive in, but make sure to call first, drove 35 miles because it showed that Rambo was still playing only to get there and find out it wasn't. We will still go, but we'll make sure the drive is not for nothing
Great for families or just a date night
Fun for the family and easier than a traditional theater. Plus it gives you control over the volume. Decent concessions.
I love great for family movie love going there I saw my first shooting star there I love it
Awesome place for great movies and experience the drive-in.
Place was okay. It was mainly the other people around. The roads to where you need to go to park were very bumpy and unclearly marked.
Great place. Good movies. Great experience. Brings back good memories. If you have never been to a drive in , you need you need to try it.
Used to be my families favorite place to go when we wanted to see a movie. It WAS a great value since you used to be able to watch two different movies on the same screen for one price. NOW however they've changed it to the show the same movie twice on one screen and you're only allowed to watch it once. For the price my family can go to a tradition movie theater's matinee.
Advertising open, I arrived with 4 kids to watch Venom and closed. Don't advertise OPEN if not open. Doesn't really excite the customer to return..... EVER.
Very good experience recommend to all my friends. Me and the wife will be back.
Was a great time! If you get the chance go!
Awesome Time
The only problem is, the food. It's stale. Other then that, bring your own food and enjoy the movie!
Love Love love this place my husband and I come here for our date night sometimes
Ok
It is so wonderful that at lest something in this world has stayed the same in our life's. .. Love Love LOVE this old drive-in theater it totally brings back old memories! !!Hope it always stays the same!!!♡♡♡♡♡
It was great and we will be going back.
Love watching movies in my car outdoors. Food costs too much for what it is.
I love the black panther i give it a 1 hundred out of 100
Loved watching the movie : 15:17 to Paris
Ok food prices are crazy . people seemed friendly
Great outing. Clean parking area
Nice to watch a movie in your vehicle. No sweet tea offered at the concession stand.
The best drive inn in southeastern Alabama
Love it
It's a great place. With drive ins closing every where its nice to be able to still have one. Very kid friendly, clean bathrooms, concessions has a huge variety although they are a bit expensive.
A blast from the past. Very few drive ins left...
I think they should have more workers for there front box gate and better food, cheaper prices perhaps who knows maybe get a better meal selection and also maybe give discounts for veterans and open more days as well like wednesdays to sundays then the drive in would be alot more family welcome for folks but i do love the fact its two movies for one i love it just think maybe it should have a little more wowie is all
Took my kids here to watch the grinch movie and they loved it just as much as I did!
Very clean well maintained great staff and very nice
We have been coming to this theater as long as it's been open. My kids love it and so do we!
WELL WHEN I WAS A TEEN WE ALL WENT TO THE DRIVE IN BUT NOBODY EVER WATCH THE MOVIE ....... YOU DO THE MATH...... ANYWAY GLAD THERE IS STILL ONE IN OUR AREA & NOW I DO WATCH THE MOVIE
Came here for a drive-in experience and checked the dates online. The movie was suppose to show a movie today, tuesday, July 30th. But when we got there the signs said Wednesday - Saturday. Wrong information on the webpage. Not good
I frequent this place a lot! I've never been disappointed. My only complaint would be that sometimes the projections are too dark to see what's happening on screen.
An awesome place to go
This movie theater is a complete joke. 2 adults 1 five year old and a 2 month old (they charged me for bringing in a baby) cost me $30. Then we were sent to the wrong movie screen and missed the beginning of our movie. They refused to give us a refund and wanted to give us tickets to come at a different time (we live 30 minutes away, didn’t want to do that) We could’ve went to a nice movie theater and spent the same and not missed the movie because the associates doesnt know how to do their job.
We loved our trip to the drive-in. The sound quality and the picture were both good. We ate from the snack bar and the food was good also. They have I think three different screens that offer a double feature on each one. We Saw Hotel Transylvania 3 And Jurassic Park World. Easy to get in and fairly easy to get out. Enjoyed our visit and will go again.
Excellent way to watch a movie cheaper than a regular movie theater usually get one for two
Awesome place for kids to watch a movie a hang out with friends.
REMEMBER THE OLD DAYS.....NICE
One of the better drive in movie theaters that I've been to. Just wish the sound was a bit better quality but that is me just being picky. I will definitely go to it again!
Very roomie
Good movies plenty of parking good concessions need good radio to tune into the movie
Food good, place nice and clean and staff friendly
Alsome!!!
Absolutely love to go! Prices are amazing even the concession stands!
Only complaint is the food prices
Good for a pinch but the projectors are dim. Our favorite drive-in in Washington state had much brighter, easy to see movie projectors so I know it can be done.
Fantastic place! Usually two kovies for the price of one. You cant move to a different movie screen.
The perfect date night. Oh and their Patty Melt and French fries are to die for.
I love it &I love going
One of our favorite date night places!
Foods way to High, can't see movie on screen to dark
One screen was damaged by hurricane michael. On that screen was "Small Foot", for children. The telephone and internet show times weren't corrected. Dozens of hurricane-stricken families with children, were turned away after being led to believe it would play. It would make sense to move the childrens show to a good screen, or adjust the showtimes. Far as I'm concerned these folks owe us a voucher. My kids were pretty upset. The effort (traffic/gas) made us upset. We're not going back, and we're not recommending.
So disappointed. I love movies and I super love drive in theatres and I always have, but this one was terrible! I have given it many chances because I wanted it to work so badly. During the summer there are ant hills everywhere and we have found ants in our food and all over us. The people working there have given us problems before and tonight was the last straw. Tonight they were going around checking tickets at cars. Our son was playing around in our car and so we couldn't find it so they kicked us out! Its not like we were able to sneak into this place, you literally have to drive in but halfway through the movie they come knocking on our window asking for tickets. We tried to explain that we just couldn't find it and then they told us to leave. I am so unhappy that I just can't believe it. Other than that we are not happy with the quality of projection, I leave each time wondering what happened in the movie because even when it is pitch dark the projection isn't bright enough to make things out, the sound quality is poor and sometimes has interference. Also half the time the mens bathroom is flooded out and you have to walk through deep puddles to relieve yourself. The tickets aren't even that cheap either, you save yourself maybe a dollar or two. It just isn't worth it and we are never going back again.
This venue is very neat! It was great to be be able to enjoy a movie with friends and family while retaining a social setting. My only complaint is the sound quality over the FM radio. Previously being a chief engineer of a radio station, I couldn't help but be annoyed at the sound quality, which showed symptoms of clipping, distortion, and over-compression. If they could clean up their signal then this venue would be perfect!
Awesome place! Great price! Very clean and not alot of bugs. Sound quality was better than most other drive-ins.
Keep drive-ins alive, they deserve your patronage. Great food selections.
One of the few drive ins left. Please support this place. It's a great experience
Love it! Was really great to see a drive-in movie theater! The staff were very friendly and helpful we had a great time we will be back!
Love it! Great price (cheap) and very friendly staff. The food is pricey but it always is at drive ins. Lol
Great place for family fun!
Awesome!
Great place to watch a movie the old fashion way in your car.
Everything it should be.
Love the family friendly atmosphere and FOUR different screens, which offers more options for the weekend than most drive ins.
Don't try to buy tickets online! I clicked on the link to buy tickets and it sold me tickets to Troy. Fandango would only refund the cost of tickets. I had to eat the convenience fee. I was told at the theater that you can only buy tickets on site. The website dosent say that.
Always nice alternative to regular theaters.
Several screens, just wished they were bigger
Nice quiet place to relax and enjoy a movie without the annoying crowds of people around!!
I'd never experienced a drive in movie until I visited this place. Well worth the drive from the Florida Panhandle to enjoy the beginning evenings of summer watching a double feature for a very reasonable price. Staff were extremely helpful answering questions I had about the place before I made the long drive to visit with a friend. I'll definitely be coming back again!
Food was way over priced and nasty! Movie was great. We paid more for our food then we did the Movie.
Awesome old school drive in. Service was nice. But dont bring kids people hooking up in their cars all over.
It's a drive in movie theater!
movie experience was good how ever the concession stand was pricey for poorly cooked food and the staff was consistently confusing orders and moving extremely slowly.
It was a lot of fun taking my 10 year-old grandson to a drive-in for the first time! Thanks for showing Smokey and the Bandit in memory of the beloved Burt Reynolds. The driving is great! Will be back!
Great value, lots of fun.
Love this place! They have 4 screens with a snack bar in the center. They sell different kinds of sandwiches, funnel cakes, candy, popcorn, ice cream, sodas, icees, etc. The food isn't too bad, almost on par with theaters just about. They take active duty military, student, and senior discounts at the gate but not for food. The downside to this place is the bathrooms. They are super gross and covered in bugs, especially spiders. So use the restroom before you leave for this place!
Nice drive in low prices.
Ok place to hang out for a romantic hour or two but the screen was pretty dark and you have to leave the car ac on most of the time. Since the sound comes over fm radio you need the car running part time anyway. Didn't try the concession stand so won't comment on it.
Pretty Awsome
Love going
Great drive-in experience. Good concession food.
I haven't been here Yet.. I fully intend to enjoy this summer time due to the extensive cold weather. Can't wait
Great idea for family fun night.
Wouldn't let us park side ways even though we were not blocking the view and there were like 20 open spaces. Screens need to be repainted. Over all, though, a lot cheaper and more comfortable than going to the actual movies. Cost us less than 35 for three adult tickets and concessions. Would go again
i like continental drive in and i watch jurassic world with dinosaurs and i was eating popcorn and drinking sprite when i watch the hole movie and i fell asleep and i was so scared.
Finally got to go and enjoyed it. Went back with the kids and they enjoyed it. Next time I will take chairs and blankets to sit outside instead of the car.
I love everything about this place. Great first run movies while sitting in the comfort of your vehicle. Food and movies are very affordable.
This place is amazing, military discount kids can’t interrupt other people’s movie due to the comfort of your own vehicle. Food prices are reasonable too. It’s the only movie place I’m going as long as I’m here. I love it.
Movie selections needs improvement. I would suggest selecting lower rated movie be played first so that younger audiences can enjoy before it gets late. This would also allow parents an option to leave before the higher rated show begins. It doesnt make sense to show R rated movie and then G movie.
Enjoyed the drive in I had an excellent experience
Great place for the whole family.
We always have a good time catching a double-feature at the drive-in... Reasonable pricing, and relatively good food drive home the value of a night out spent at the drive-in. The only thing that could be better is they would dedicate 3 of the 4 screens to double-features, rather than their current trend of offering only one or two (and sometimes even none) of their screens for this purpose.
Decent drive in, first run movies
Love this! My family has a tradition-every Friday we get candy, drinks and pizza and go to the movies!
I'm a huge fan of the cinema but, I haven't been to a drive through since 2001 before visiting continental. If you like the convenience of going to a drive through theater that's not far from Fort Rucker (roughly 16 mins on 85) then this is the place for you. It shows new movies and some recent ones. My only complaint is that it's very humid during showtime so I constantly have to use my windshield wipers to remove the condensation. I would recommend bringing a handy chair and bug spray.
Nice drive-in movie theater
You'll never have is like this
Great place for family! And alot better on the wallet. $8.00 for Adults.
Love the double features
Great
Love taking my kids here! Its a great place to cuddle up and watch a movie without fear of my kids becoming a problem for another family. Great menu items! Friendly staff! I only wish they would go back to having double features on all the screens. That was honestly the best deal in movie going history. And since i drive 30+ miles to get there and pack up all the pillows and blankets and pack up my kids, its just hard to justify all that work for just one movie.
Drove about 2 hours, from florida wanted the kids to experience a drive inn movie, they had no clue what it was but they were soo excited!!! i dig this lil spot, ready to come back when its cooler weather thou !!
Great experience. The sound and picture quality were great!
Nice
Clean, certious staff, good food selection, clean restrooms
Really enjoyed this. It was a different experience. I didn't grow up in the 50's or 60's. It would be nice if they were more of these type theatres around.
Always great
Just Say it's Amazing!!!
2 newish movies for the price of 1 can't beat that and outstanding concession stand with grill foods (burgers, chicken, fries, hot dogs, etc)
Inexpensive family night. Cheaper than other theaters and decent concession prices.
Nice drive-in theater
It was a very enjoyable movie experience.
Great! Brought back good memories. Had fun. Cars today, don't accommodate good viewing as the old cars did.
Kids Enjoyed
Good place
Very good place to watch movies you use the radio to listen to the movies.
I never had one of these in my hometown but now that I do I use it all the time great place
We loved it, to watch the movie in our car. Bit crowdy for 5 persons, but... we had to try ir for we gor to go back to The Netherlands!
Pretty neat place.
Great service! Great price! Overall awesome!
A lot more affordable that going to the movie theater. Take your own snacks because the food is a little pricey and not that great.
We enjoyed watching Lion King here and the food was good too. Clean bathrooms as well
Had a great time. Was my first time at a drive-in theater but won't be the last.
