This is a good theater. My bf and I come here often to catch a show, and we always have a good time. It’s clean, has quick service, comfortable seats, and good snacks. The screenings and sound are high-quality. I wish they’d enforce the no cellphones during the movie policy more strictly, but people are always going to selfishly break the rules... in any case, I always enjoy coming here.

I've always enjoyed visiting this theater even before it was bought by AMC, but I think this is the best incarnation. It's always clean, the staff are friendly, and I don't think I've ever had any complaints that weren't immediately addressed by management or otherwise. I must admit that even though I legitimately love this theater, being an A-Lister (not a paid promotion, lol) really enhances that and makes me not want to go to any other theater in town. If I had to make one complaint it would be actual movie diversity. More often than not there's been a weird/quirky/unique/etc./etc. film or special screening of something that this theater just refuses to play for whatever reason. Look, I get it, lots of films only appeal to a small niche crowd and if there's not enough interest it's basically a waste of time/effort/money. Not everything is for everyone and the general movie-going public simply doesn't care, but it's stuff like that that makes me wish Huntsville had an Alamo Drafthouse.

Very high quality cinematic experience! Comfortable and spacious seats, state of the art projection and sound systems. The south is courteous and friendly. Concessions are expensive as in any theater, but high quality. I definitely recommend seeing your film selection here.

It's a very good movie theater! My boyfriend and I are stubs members and we have the refillable popcorn bucket, and since we go to a lot of movies, they definitely pay for themselves. Tuesday nights are the way to go... 5 dollar tickets can't be beat!

It's a nice theater, in a good location. The screens and sound are also really good. That is about it though. The seats are way outdated. You can drive an extra 15 minutes to get reclining seats. And for less money.

AMC’s A-List subscription is great and the closest thing out there to what Moviepass was in its prime. The screens and sound are great, but the theatre overall is beginning to need a slight refresh - update the bathrooms and put in the reclining seats.

Thier imax is just a slightly curved screen and not a dome like the us space and rocket center. Huge disappointment given you pay a little extra for the tickets. Wont be back

This is a wonderful the staff is just outstanding and very helpful the managers are also nice I come here about 3-5 times a week it may be some problems here and there but they have a lot going on so they can’t fix everything at once but it’s fantastic and I recommend this theater over the others in Huntsville

Death of common sense. Of course I'm sure it's a corp policy. I had a free coupon for a popcorn, $8.75 value according to counter associate. I asked him if I could use the coupon for the tub refill, $5.00 value. He said "no" I could get a free popcorn and then buy a refill. This makes the 50th movie I've seen this year and the first time I've ever been told this.

The movie quality was great but the only had the main concession stand open and not the others by the theaters so you had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get snacks or not get any at all. I may not go back to this theater. If you do go really early.

This was the worst experience we've had at this theater. Only one ticket kiosk was working. The line at the concession stand was ridiculous. Only 2 cashiers open and 1 runner. 2 of 3 freestyle coke machines didn't have ice. Needless to say we were late to the movie. I asked for the manager and was told one wasn't available. Very poor management.

The staff was perfectly helpful it's kinda out the way so not everyone will flock to this theater if you wait a few days after a release and that's the beauty of this theater.... The others watching with me are the reasons why I kinda did have a 100% good time but that's nothing against the staff or location... I wished there was a way to tune out loud viewers

It let me reserve seats that didn't exist 10 and 11 one of them was an empty spot apparently for a wheelchair but it didn't say that And let me reserve it. We almost missed the beginning of the show but the staff was very nice getting us in. It was the Premier of Downton Abbey and the website when I reserved it also said we were supposed to get a snow globe.

Seats are nice. Only reason I gave 2 stars. Other than that, the sound is way too loud. I couldn't even sit through the movie. I made it about 30 minutes. Then, I paid over $6 for a medium coke. That's stupid expensive. I will never be back.

Went on 6/22/2020. Place was dirty, garbage cans were overflowing. Ordered hot dogs and popcorn, both condiment stations were out of straws and had 3 empty ketchup bottles. Asked for straws and ketchup and the guy could not get the ketchup bottle to open finally said forget it the movie was going to start. The place was filthy. Very disappointed.

after after three Company ownership changes what I just called the Valley Bend Theater now with IMAX cuz you never know what the new name will be his actually improved quite considerably they have an actual menu of a multiple multitude of variety of snacks to eat other than just sugar and cokes so if you get there early enough or pre buy your tickets online you can actually make a meal out of the time you spend watching the movie it is pricey because I go to the IMAX screen Stadium so with the food and drink and initial ticket price it's a little expensive but that's to be expected so you know I can't really complain about that by now they have reserved seating as well the first time I dealt with that in the movie theater I was unsure of it and at this location I feel a kind of the same way if you don't if you don't plan you know a week in a head-on where you want to sit in if you're in a group then you might get stuck sitting anywhere in the theater so some bit of me doesn't like the reserved seating aspect but you know that's just the way they do it now overall it's my favorite theater

My favorite theater to come to! I live about an hour away and it’s worth the drive. The staff are friendly and the sound quality is astounding. I would definitely recommend that if you go to an AMC theater a lot, do yourself a favor and become a AMC Stubs member. It’ll lower the price of tickets, food and drinks and it’ll save you time because of the long lines at the snack bar. Definitely would recommend.

Only thing I wish is that they put butter on popcorn for you because I always had them.. fill bucket up halfway, add butter, add rest of the popcorn, and then add butter on top. Now the way it is only half of the popcorn gets butter.

This is a great theater. They have the ability to play lots of different movies so if you want to see it there's a good chance it's here. They also have the option for IMAX. It's a rather large theater as well so you don't feel cramped or like you have to be on top of people. I ordered their chicken fingers and was pleasantly surprised. A little overpriced but what theater food isn't? The only potential downside is that it feels a little dated. In my opinion it just adds charm and character but I could see how some people would think otherwise.

Way overpriced for the experience. 1 imax ticket and a large popcorn, large drink combo came to $31. Seats don’t recline. Hand rails are painted gray, but where you grab them is dirty brown. Floor was sticky.

The past few times I have been to this theater there have been long lines to buy tickets at the concessions stand and the one self serve kiosk that is working. The ticket taker does not have a scanner for codes on phones so everyone has to wait in a long line. This needs to be improved.

Popcorn was saltier than my ex, movie messed up and displayed no picture, just sound for about 10 min, popcorn and drinks cost you your retirement savings, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and out of paper towels so I had to Jazz hands my hands dry, employees looked dead inside and lacked serving with a smile, and last but not least, the seats were more uncomfortable than me at a family reunion.

Love this theater come here at least once a week. The A-list membership is just a great value for all the movies alone but adding in the other benefits such as priority lane and rewards. I spend maybe 11 buck on a large drink and a large popcorn usually less with my rewards.

Best theater in town as far as screen and audio quality. Other theaters may have better seats and food but for pure movie going experience the Imax here is the best in the area - the best. Weekdays are a good time to go. The crowds are thinned out then. Very busy on the weekends.

When I went to the theater they didnt cut the lights off until the middle of the movie and cut them back on way before the mobile ended so the screen was very hard to see. The popcorn was mostly stale. But their always so nice.

I recieved terrible customer service and won't be going back. The theater dispenses promotional tickets and then declines to honor them, presumably a cash-grab move to lure people in and hope they'll just pay for the ticket regardless. I went to Bridge Street and paid less for a reclining seat and an overall better experience instead. I even went on a Monday at 10AM, partially so that the theater wouldn't be denied a paying customer on a big opening weekend. But even with a nearly empty lobby they refuse to honor their own promotional giveaways.

Back when this was the Rave it used to be so nice. Now that's its changed hands a few times it has definitely went downhill. 4.50 for a bottle of water. I said "can I just get a cup then for water" well that's 6 dollars. No security anymore no police. I wont be coming back at all.

It's Alabama summer and I don't understand why it was like 85 degrees in the theater. Staff was nice and took my complaint to adjust the air. But usually, ppl bring a jacket to a theater. The popcorn is awesome. It was cool they have their own security in the parking area, I know kids can get rowdy

Tried to find last minute tickets to Lion King today, it's opening weekend, and this was the only theatre in town not sold out. Once we got there we quickly found out why. The parking lot and in front of the theatre had trash everywhere, the tickets were more expensive than any other theatre in town, and the experience just lacked the amenities of the other options in town. Ownership needs to reevaluate their business plan or they will continue to lose market share.

So we brought some water bottles in. There were two employees checking our tickets. The one scanning was cheerful and let us by, but the other told us very abruptly that we weren’t allowed to bring in outside products like that. We asked why, he said “company policy”. Okay. We kind of wandered off to the side for a second, and the guy followed and told us again that we weren’t allowed to bring those in. Several of my friends got mad and started asking if they were allowed to do that. He went and got the manager, who only came out to tell us it was company-wide policy for AMC. No other explanation, no courtesy. We asked if we were allowed to bring in empty bottles? Same answer. We could order water at the counter. The girl at the counter was sweet, but she could only give us small “courtesy cups”. We then took those cups, filled them up with water from our bottles outside (because the machines at the theater are kind of gross), and took them into our theater. Not really sure why you’re allowed to bring an empty water bottle into an airport with major security, yet not into a regular movie theater. Kind of feels like a grab for money, but okay.

Went to a movie at noon with my wife for my birthday. We drove 45 miles to get there. Spent $40 for two tickets, 2 large drinks, and a large popcorn. Movie was ok, popcorn really sucked. It was freshly popped, but the kernels were noticeably smaller and of poor quality. I think we will be going somewhere else in the future.

We had a fantastic experience here. The prices are a bit high, but this is to be expected at a higher end movie theatre. The seating is great and the chairs lean back a bit for comfort. The screens are nice and big with good quality definition and sound. The facility and bathrooms are also kept clean and well stalked.

Saw avengers here. They did not have any soda (pipe burst) the seats were uncomfortable, the popcorn was cold, but the staff was nice (but very inexperienced). I will not be going back anytime soon.

My friend and I went to a 12:45 showing of Bohemian Rhapsody. We had to buy tickets at the concession area. We purchased 2 tickets, a small popcorn and 1water... the cost??? $32!!! Really?

The largest cineplex in the area. It is in my opinion, the best movie theater in the area to watch large format blockbuster premieres. Ticket prices are generally higher here than at Touchstar 12 and Cinemark at Bridgestreet. Both the other options offer reclining seats whereas AMC Valley Bend 18 doesn't. The standard seats do recline and are relatively comfortable. I almost prefer them because I am tall and the leather reclining seats at other venues are really large enough for me to lay back. This theater usually runs the best promos and gimicks surrounding the launch of a movie. This theater also frequently has limited run specials, live events, and rereleases throughout the year. The theater could use a touch more modernization with the aging seats and venue.

WHY is there a Premier Club line? This is NOT a nightclub. There is confusion when you arrive at the front of the line and people waiting in the maze of a line get bumped by somone standing in little cordoned off line??? This entire place is horribly run and the ticket/concession staff is always so very slow. It is not worth the trouble. Going to Monaco is much nicer and there is better staff and facilities. Sad that the only neighborhood theatre is horrible. CHANGE something.

The ticket person was very rude, I asked about the $5 Tuesday movies and she said you needed a upgraded movie membership for an additional cost. If it says $5 Tuesday movies then it should be that no questions asked. The agents do not seem to care about the customers, my visit was disappointing but I saw the movie today, but may go elsewhere.

The employees here are very friendly! The popcorn is fresh and you add your own butter! What I like best, is that flavored water, sparkling water, and plain water can be obtained from the beverage dispensing machine, so I could get a large cup, ice and water at a relatively reasonable price (which I prefer over buying their bottled water and getting a small cup of ice)!

A couple weeks ago was my first time going. I saw Lion King with my daughter. It's very well maintained. It was clean and the seats were comfy. If you're into first run movies you can't beat the "a list" at AMC. $20 for 3 movies a week no restrictions (except for special engagements). The theater is clean and staffed. The IMAX is a good experience and a bargain on the a list. Theater 11 has a bad light on the left side of the auditorium it's bright the entire time regardless of the other lights

Went to see the DCI Big, Loud, Live Fathom Event. They started the stream late and had music playing over a music event once they got the stream going. The staff seemed irritated that I asked them to fix it. Towards the end of the stream, the projector shuts down, sound goes off, we get up to go see if they can fix it and the place is dark, no staff to be found in the building. We leave and the parking lot is empty. The staff left before the stream event was over and just left the handful of folks that had paid for the show in the building. These were not cheap tickets, more than your average movie by a significant amount. So they think so little of their customers that they won't stay for us to finish a show we paid for? I look forward to speaking with the manager tomorrow, maybe even a corporate complaint. This was ridiculous.

Went to the first day showing of "First Man". The scheduled starting time was 8 P.M. At about 8:23 the new Michael Moore film began showing. I went to the lobby to find an employee and all the offices and concessions were closed. The lights were turned off. After yelling for help, finally, a courteous employee greeted me and said he would check into the showing of the wrong feature. They blamed it on "equipment error". I'm sure it was employee error. "First Man" would not be shown. I was not allowed a refund, but was presented a free pass to a future showing. I've waited over a year to see "First Man". This is why most people refuse to go to the moves.

When there are no issues, the theater is fine. However, I was at the 10pm Thursday night opening of Thor: Ragnarok in November 2017, and the lights stayed on during the movie until my buddy had to leave and tell a staff member to turn the lights off, then the lights came back on with over 3 minutes left in the movie. One time is fine, but it happened AGAIN last night for the 10pm Thursday night premiere of Captain Marvel... The lights stayed on, and the final frame of a Chevrolet ad was superimposed over the image (second projector?) until, once again, we had to alert the staff. Nobody checks the status of the movies and it ruins meaningful moments of these movies (Captain Marvel had an amazing Marvel Studios fanfare that was ruined). My friends and I will begin watching imax movies in my hometown of Memphis instead of me visiting them in Huntsville.

I payed for an IMAX theatre with recliner seats seats....its traditional stadium seating with no room for people to pass in between rows

We got our tickets quickly. Free refills on drinks. I also noticed that they had booster seats for the kids which is great because my daughter is not heavy enough to keep the seat down so it always folds up on her.

We go three times a week. It has taken us since January 12th to get our 2019 bucket that we finally got we'd of this week 23rd. so we have had to spend roughly 30 dollars to much if they had the buckets it would only cost us 15 for refills. I think we should of got credits toward our bucket not our fault AMC did not order enough.

The extra star is for customer service because they are really welcoming ,and I’m not saying that because the lady at the counter gave me two quarters to play the terminator game after the machine ate my money .

Last two times I have went to this theater it was trashed. Restrooms- flooded, sink had water all over it, paper towels all over the floor Soda machines- 3 out of 4 out of order and 1 th as t worked out of ice. Serivice- stood in line for 10 mins at about 7pm on a Friday as the 2nd person in line. Only one person working the counter. Popcorn was stale. Movie Theater-was good.

A couple weeks ago was my first time going. I saw Lion King with my daughter. It's very well maintained. It was clean and the seats were comfy.
