Went last week movie broke understandable. Then went back this week and took forever to get the tickets cause there were only 3 registers running for like a ton of people. It's not like they only have 3. On the out we counted 12.

The place seemed incredibly understaffed. Thankful for the previews before the movie. The teller was nice and got my order correct and the seats were comfortable. The screen was perfect and the sound was also good. Seems like a family place overall I enjoyed my experience and would see another movie here.

They need to work on customer service. I was standing in line waiting to get my tickets the cashier was texting on her phone and totally ignored me. I thought she was on break so I went in another line. Once she got finished texting she helped the next guest. I was thinking wow it must be awesome to text on the job while the customers wait!

They have very patient and genuine employees. Katarina is really nice and keep me find my theater. She even helped clean up my sons popcorn mess! What a blessing! My experience was 10/10

The projector went out and we waited about 20 minutes for someone to come fix it. They couldn't do anything so they have us vouchers for any movie we wanted to watch. But we couldn't watch the movie we came for that day because both showings used that projector. Overall I was HIGHLY unsatisfied and quite annoyed. An hour of my life I'm never going to get back...

Compared to other AMC's back home in Illinois I was very dissapointed. The layout and operations is strange. Something just felt off about concessions, popcorn tasted old, and I wanted jalapenos but they don't have them out I've always been to a theater that had jalapenos. I'm not sure if it was me but I kept having to repeat myself to the cashier about what I wanted. Staff did not seem attentive, customer service should be good at an AMC, but I was dissapointed.

Absolutely annoying. Instead of having the ticket booth at the front of the building open and selling tickets like an intelligent business would. No they make you buy the tickets at the concession stand. Then instead of having a line for tickets only. They are all intertwined into a slow as molasses in winter time. To say the least I am absolutely annoyed at the ignorance and unproductive way of handling things. It will be a very long time before I return to this theater. A negative ten rating should be available.

Terribly organised. I pre-ordered tickets online for Endgame. The email it sent me told me to see the self service kiosk or the ticket booth to get my tickets situated. Great. We get there 20 minutes before the movie starts on the opening night and they only have refreshment center open thats handling EVERYTHING. They're doing online tickets, in house tickets, and snacks and drinks. What's the point of having a ticket booth and two refreshment centers if you're not going to utilize it on literally THE BIGGEST MOVIE IN HISTORY to date. What other time would it be used? So, even though we get there 20 minutes early, have already paid for our tickets, and we don't want any refreshments, we have to stand in the refreshment line for 45 MINUTES just to get our tickets. So we can finally go sit down, except that by the time we get inside the theater, it is literally filled to the brim. There were no available seats past the second row. Me and my girlfriend had to stumble around the theater during the opening scenes to try and find a seat, only to end up having to sit in the floor FOR THREE HOURS. About an hour in, I went and asked someone at the counter if it was possible to get a refund because we paid extra for better seats and a better experience (The Big D seats were over $16/piece) and we still ended up having to sit in the floor and my back was killing me. They told me no that we couldn't get a refund because it was an hour in and there were still seats available (referring to the front row where you literally cant even see the whole screen because it exits your peripheral vision and you have to strain your neck almost directly upwards the whole time. I was so disappointed that I almost cried because I had been looking forward to this movie for so long, and now all I could focus on was how much my back hurt and how I wasted my money and time. I will not be visiting any AMC theater again because of its terrible practices and the bad taste it left in my mouth from such an awful experience.

Very nice theater, being that it is a few years older than the newer AMC Theater down the road. The workers are very friendly and the keep the place exceptionally clean. Also the matinee price is actually $0.10 cheaper than the other AMC Theater, $5.89 is there a matinee price. Also being that I'm from Dadeville it is actually 10 minutes closer for me to go to that particular AMC Theater. A plus for this location is that it tends to be less busy than the larger AMC Theater, even on opening night of movies.

Ahem. Generally I enjoy going to this theater. It is a place many of us hangout. But lately the treatment of people by the workers has been greatly lowered. Me and my friends were going to watch black panther and we had bought tickets to tomb raider before then decided to get other ones to black panther. We had gone into the theater and watched some of it. Another friend and I went to the bathroom. We threw away our tickets thinking it wouldn’t be an issue. We did not know when we went in again they wouldn’t let us in to either movie and yelled at us to get out if we didn’t have them. We wasted a lot of money on this place. I know I and other will not be coming here again. Ever.

My experience in this place was awful. When we went in to the place where we were going to watch the movie was around 85 degrees and there was no toilet papaer in the bathroom.

If I could give it no stars, I would!! When you take 2 kids to see a movie during matinee time & it costs you $6 shy of $80, it is way over priced....4 movie tickets, 2 bags of popcorn & 3 beverages.... so not worth it. Will never go back.

Great prices! Pretty clean facilities. Didn't eat anything, so I can't say anything on that. The movie room I was in was pretty small. I'm from another city and the theaters there are bigger, but they're not as clean and they're more expensive. I like this theater :)

Movie began with 30min of commercials before the actual previews... If you are gonna trap people and show that many commericals at the scheduled show time the tickets should be discounted. But my main issue was the temperature of the theatre.... It was WAAAAY too cold in the theater. If I didn't enjoy the movie so much I would of walked out and requested a refund.

Went to se Shazam and nearly froze to death while having to sit through nearly 30 minutes of comercials after the 7:20 satrt time along with more conercials after the previews. That much advertising should warrant a cheaper ticket. I was in jeans and a long sleeve and almost had gone all out. It doesn't need to be 50 degrees indoors.

The movie watching experience was not bad. We watched 3D movie and it was ok. Foods were expensive as usual. Wife informed women's bathroom did not have paper towels and the whole restroom smelled like urine. The concession counter employee was courteous.

The Big D rooms are a horrible, horrible invention. They obviously did not care about correctly setting up audio for the optimal experience. Or even a good experience. The entire theater design is not very good for audio and not very great for the people sitting in the back 5 rows or front 12 rows. I know they did this to maximize space but it is a horrible design and it takes away from the experience greatly if you're sitting in the front or the back. God forbid you sit on the sides because then you're going to get really bad audio.

Love the $5 Tuesdays - can't beat it! The concession lines moved fast and everyone was friendly - I think they're the only cinema in the area that serves alcohol. They also have very clean restrooms. Great place all around!

Pretty large theater with a great selection of snacks and drinks. Probably one of the better ones in town (I mean, there’s only two to choose from), but the experience is great. Haven’t had any problems with the staff, and the Big D is always a great time. Heh.

I went with my girlfriend to the matinee expecting to save a little money. I was most definitely wrong. Our two movie tickets a large drink and two boxes of candy equaled out to around 40 dollars. Also a regular popcorn alone was 7 dollars plus tax. The employees aren't the nicest either no one actually seemed to want to be there also if you are looking for alcohol expect to spend quite a bit for very little

This theater is good for what it has to work with. But it could really use an update. It's never really busy, and that's a shame. It is relatively close to the Auburn University campus. You can tell that the staff just really isn't into being there. One really good thing is that they have plenty of restrooms!

My fiance and I went to a midday show at this theater today. First, the pretzel bites were straight up stale. We decided not to order any more food and just get our seats and enjoy the movie. After sitting in a theater for 3 hours, you'd expect people to have to use the bathroom right? Unfortunately, I could barely even walk into the main women's bathroom because the smell of urine and feces was eye watering. I pushed through the smell and couldn't find a single toilet that wasn't COVERED in pee. Absolutely disgusting. I went to the other women's bathroom and it was nearly just as bad. Thankfully, there was a single toilet that was... okay. When I found my fiance again, he told me the men's room smelled awful, but it wasn't as disgusting. When I told an employee, all I got was a deadpan "okay?". We won't be going back.

Enjoying Movie Night with the Mr. is so enjoyable. Both theaters in Auburn/Opelika area are large, the concession is delicious, and the movie selection is up-to-date on all genres.

This place has gone down a bit over the years. Time for some renovations. The last movie I took my kids to the air conditioning unit was dripping from the ceiling on my shoulder. Looked up ceiling tile was kinda wet. Just need some rejuvenation in that place.

I go to this movie theater all the time, since it's the only one in the Auburn area. The only time I really had a bad experience was when the manager harassed me and my family because he was racist and thought we were thugs who snuck into the theater (a family of 8 people...really?). But other than that douche of a manager who is still employed, it's awesome!

I'm not sure how to rate theaters. It was clean, the staff were polite. The DDD screen or whatever it's called is awesome, though the stadium seating is a bit too vertical. The regular screen had odd seating all pushed to one side due to the entrance being on the right.

The staff followed my friends and I to the batthroom and did not speak to us. They were suspicious of us having an outside drink (Starbucks). They did not stop us and ask if we actually had this drink with us or if we would prove that we did not. We were traveling in a group of 6 and 3/6 went to the bathroom and one of the ushers did not speak, make eye contact but did come up to the other 3/6 got to our friend’s things, picked up her flannel, put it back down and never said a word. Very disrespectful!

September 09, 2017 : My husband and I were on Date night to an R rated movie. The movie theatre was filled with underage kids who were "unaccompanied" by any adults. The kids kept up a cacophony of sound, screaming, shouting; several adult patrons complained to the manager to no avail. Husband asked manager to simply check the IDs of the 50+ kids involved (which should have been done at ticket purchase) ; manager refused. This was a violation of the law. Seemed he was frightened of all those children. Ten minutes into movie we still couldn't hear anything from the screen. All adult audience members left the theatre in disgust. We will not return. January 08, 2018 A month later I received in the mail, an apology from the manager, plus two tickets. We gave away the tickets.

Excellent location close to mall but not inside it; easy in and out! Clean inside and out with large comfortable chairs with tiered seating so no heads block your viewing. Food is expensive but about normal for movie theaters these days. Overall, highly recommended especially considering the other theaters in the area. This is your BEST CHOICE.

The prices were exhorbitant. We purchased 3 matinee tickets, 2 drinks, and 1 popcorn. $51!!!!! Either the popcorn or the butter had gone bad. We are NOT picky eaters, and we're usually too cheap to waste food, but it was inedible. The facilities themselves we're ok, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of one; however, it was nothing special, and for $51 it better be amazing.

This theater is a little bit dated, but the popcorn is good and video quality is the same as other theaters in the area. I think the theater in Opelika has seats that are more comfortable, but it can often not be worth the drive! They also have $5 movies on Tuesday (as long as it’s not in the Big D theater). Along with that, they have discounts on popcorn and soda on Tuesdays.

Very unpleasant visit. The theater was dirty and smelled like mold. My wife and I have movie passes, so we frequent the movies about three times a week. We will NOT be going back to the theater. The seats were broken and uncomfortable, the popcorn stale, sound equipment was dated, and to top it off the woman working the counter was absolutely horrible. Horrible customer service experience. The staff member seemed irritated that she had to ring up the tickets, even more so when I asked for a popcorn. The worst part is that AMC is charging full price for these "seats" if you could even call them that; they were more like obligations. As in the tickets have already been bought and this is the last night to see this movie in theaters. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. Don't waste your money.

This is a pretty good theater. Decent screen technology considering the size of Auburn, AL. The theater recently installed the Coke Freedom machine which 1) allows free drink refills and 2) lets you pick from many permutations of flavors. Also new for 2017 - Beer! You can get a decent bottle of beer (pseudo-craft beer, as in Sierra Nevada) for cheaper than ATL airport: $5.50/bottle.

Good movies but refreshments VERY expensive. 1 popcorn & 2 drinks $18! Very clean and servers are helpful. Good as a SPECIAL treat. Not like yrs ago,when you could get FRESH bucket of popcorn and 2 drinks for $10-12. I think this is why people rent movies and have refreshments at home, plus you can adjust volume.

Super upset and actually would appreciate if someone contacted me. We are currently hear seeing the 4:50 ugly dolls. Myself and 3 kids, 2 kid boxes, one large popcorn and a large drink. The theater is so dirty, the popcorn taste like they made it this morning. This is pretty upsetting considering I just paid $56. If I didn't have a 4 and 6 year old that would flip out we would leave and request our money back. Very upsetting. The staff was super friendly though.

Nice, friendly theater. Clean restrooms and clean floors in the seating area. Ambient temperature is always on the cool side which is good for keeping germs at bay. The particular movie room we sat in had a musty odor which is probably normal since this is an older theatre compared to the one at Capps Landing location.

The screens are way too dark. If it’s a low lit scene then the picture is pretty much hard to determine what’s going on. I’ve been here a total of 3 times and it’s the same problem. Please turn the brightness up or reposition the curve tv. I really enjoy the movies, I do not want to have to buy it online because I enjoy the popcorn and drinks too much.

I’ve been here a few times and the experiences have been fairly straight forward. Service was somewhat friendly but the overall quality of the movie picture and theatre was not great. My seat was very worn and the theatre has an old smell to it. Decent place if you don’t care about aesthetics and just want to see the movie.
