Our mother passed early and we had no plans in place, so when preparations began we simply googled funeral homes in our area. I am SO thankful this is the one we chose at random. Megan was so accommodating to us and made this terrible experience much easier. We expected a sales person to push products on us, but she did the opposite. She helped us find affordable and convenient plans for a service without ever pressuring us into anything. At the time of the funeral Megan was constantly at our call (but not at all intrusive) making the day as stress free as possible. One of the younger employees, Jim, stayed with our father with dementia when he was alone, helped him down the stairs, got him beverages and held the doors for him. During my brothers eulogy he mentioned a song, and afterward Megan had it playing. It was the little things that made it wonderful and extremely stress free for us. The facility is very nice. The chapel was large with many places to put our guests and many surfaces for photos and memories. There is a lounge downstairs for after the service that felt very comfortable. Overall, if I could give more stars I would. If you are in my position and have to find services, I HIGHLY recommend Max Sass & sons and recommend you ask for Megan. This was such an emotional and difficult time for us, but this company and those helping us made it so much easier on us.

I dealt (on the phone) with Marlowe Larsen, I believe the Director of the Greenfield facility. VERY unpleasant, this guy was downright rude. Another member of my family also spoke with him, independently of my call. They also had a terrible experience, described Marlowe as having a "chip on his shoulder." We won't be coming in to your place, that's for sure. It's pretty painful to lose a family member, at least I expect a little courtesy.

Always have had such a warm caring place that does treat the family and friends with such sincere empathy. My family had my grandfather's service here in 1996, and have attended a few other family and friends service. Prices are very good and considering the beautiful care of everything & such attention.

I recently buried a family member with Max Sass. This is the second time I’ve used this funeral home. In both instances we worked with Marlowe. He was extremely thorough, professional and very experienced. He was able to work with our budget and was happy to accommodate the specific requests of my family. They take care of the funeral process in a way that is easy to understand; it takes a lot of the burden away of having to worry. You’re in good hands with Marlowe and the rest of the staff, we will definitely use this funeral home again. Highly recommend.
