The death of a loved one is without doubt the most difficult loss to endure. Recently we lost a dear woman very close to our heart. She was a retired veteran. The family chose Herman-Taylor Funeral Home to handle all the necessary arrangements for a graveside ceremony which was to include military rights and the passing of our great nation's flag to her family. The family was promised on multiple occasions all would be taken care of, and on the day of the funeral, no military rights were given. The family was told the rights could be done later and we could all return at a later date. Many of the mourners were from out of state. Several days later, the bill arrived and the deceased name was not our dearly departed. As a veteran, mother and grandmother, I would never recommend Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and apparently not very astute. Please spare yourself from any additional sorrow by avoiding this business.

I am so thankful for Justin and the staff at Herman Taylor funeral home.. it's been 2 years and I still can't thank them enough for all they did to get us through the worst possible nightmare any parent has to go through.

Our family has used Herman-Taylor funeral home for years. Each time we have needed their services, the staff has been most professional, and they make the process of decision making personal. Our needs have always been considered, and the same for our wishes. We had gone to them just this past week due to the passing of our mother. Dignity and respect were first and foremost considered in our grief. I wish I could give 10 stars for going above and beyond our expectations.
