I cannot express how wonderful the service for my wife was handled. The flower arrangements were beautiful and the audio-video presentation was exceptional. Amy handled the service for us and did an extremely professional and heartwarming job. The catered refreshments and the service area was also excellent. All in all we were very pleased with everything done in our behalf.

I own a funeral home and memorial gardens in Tennessee. Several years ago I arranged for a graveside and burial of a family member. Although their funeral staff originally were a bit mouthy....it soon smoothed out. My comment mainly is regarding their memorial gardens cemetery. Absolutely first class. Their cemetery personnel were professional, friendly, efficient and their work was impeccable. I wish I could have them teach my cemetery crew how to care for a grave. After the burial, replacement of a granite bench and a large companion bronze memorial....it appeared as if there hadn't even been a burial hours earlier. Hands down the best cemetery care I've experienced in over 40 years of funeral service. Good job.

Sunset Hills is absolutely the gold standard of of funeral homes. From the beginning to the end of the process of laying my loved one to rest, they are the best at what they do. They stole our plot. My parents bought and paid for plot in the 1970s. Ellen refused to let me bury my mother in it. I brought in my power or attorney for both my parents. I also brought in the will which I was made exector of both my parents. Dad had passed on in 2004. I was told I could not bury either parent I need permission from my 1/2 sister. They stole from my parents and me.

It is sad when a funeral home can be compared to a used car buying experience! We were overcharged and when questioned about the extra expense added, we were told it was state law for the fee. Asked for a copy of the RCW and none could be provided and then they said they thought for sure there was an RCW. We eventually got the overcharge of approx $1500 returned. They set up a meeting time to give me the refund but during the meeting told me that it was easier for them to send a check. Why waste my time with a meeting? We received a check in the wrong amount and after several phone calls received the remaining amount. After the funeral we got notices and phone calls from banks, health provider, social security etc, basically questioning why we were still receiving money for my father when he supposedly died several months prior to his actual death. The funeral director, Madison, informed social security with the wrong date of death! When asked about this, she acted like it was no big deal that she made a mistake. If you need to use this funeral home be sure to know what you are paying for. If they screwed us, I am positive that they do this on a regular basis!!!!
