This is a HORRIBLE Funeral Home. My son funeral was held at this dump, one of the Employees was very unprofessional, they did not allow the Pallbearers to walk my son out and place him into the hearse. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The Guy didn’t take his time for the family to have a final glance at my son before he quickly wrapped him up and closed the casket. And even at the end of the service, all of the Pallbearers walked up to help assist and the Guy responded, “no, we’ll take care of the body, y’all can just go to your vehicles.” What a nice way to make a family feel somewhat at ease during a loss, Please avoid this place, they don’t deserve not 1 star.

Words cannot express how grateful my family and I are to Miss Belva Jenkins and the Johnson and Jenkins Funeral Home! Our beloved family matriarch went home to be with the Lord and we did not know how to start, or plan anything. She took out her own time to guide us through the process. On the day of services, everything was just so beautiful: from our beloved grandmother, the great loving caring compassionate staff, to the memorial blanket, custom programs, the flowers, and she even provided professional funeral escorts to get us safely and efficiently to the cemetery! All I can say is thank you! I am so grateful to the Johnson and Jenkins Funeral Home and Miss Belva Jenkins.

Doesn't pay her vendors. We got the run around on three sizable invoices for memorial keepsakes that we sent within 24 hours but Belva chose to not pay. New Memorials Direct is owed a sizable amount from Johnson & Jenkins Funeral Home, Inc.

I also was amazed at how we were able to get through Downtown D.C. with ease with a professional funeral traffic safety patrol.
