Awful, rude, insensitive, the worst experience. Nothing like an eye rolling jerk ushering your family into a balcony, then having a poorly dressed woman chase you around during your grief attempting to blame others for their lack of care and concern. Overall making the one of the saddest days of my life even worse.

They NEVER pressured me to buy anything, they just told me what my options were. And they told me everything I needed to do in order to settle things after the funeral. Allen Flintoft was incredible and compassionate in every step of the way. He came out to my parents house, talked to us about all of our initial options after dad passed. Then meeting with him at the Funeral Home and talking about what we wanted, where to have the memorial service, posting a notice in the paper and on their website, suggestions for pictures to use, if we wanted to have a slide show with pics, music we wanted to add, choosing a chapln if we didn't have one, if we wanted to serve food, costs, etc. Honestly, he made all of our lives so much calmer during this. Of course if things can be planned ahead it's always better, but even if you haven't he will make sure everything is as perfect as possible. Thank you Allen Flintoft and staff.

Allen Fluntoft was immensely helpful during this difficult time. My husband passed away suddenly and Allen and his staff went above and beyond for the entire family. He took special care of our parents, quickly and efficiently adjusted last minute details to allow our two brothers to sing live at the service and was caring and professional to all my children. I had unreasonable requirements in the type of casket I needed and somehow, someway, Allen was able to find, ship and set up a special showing so I was able to be confident it was perfect. It greatly saddens me that my sister - posting below- did not get properly updated about all that Flintofts did for the entire family. I would recommend them to anyone that I love dearly- to assist through such a hard time.

I work for a funeral home in Alabama and recently worked with Allen and his staff as they were serving a family at their funeral home for a service at their funeral that would be later be transferred to our funeral home for an additional service and burial. Being in opposite corners of the US, coordination and communication is a key factor when it comes to serving a family and assuring that all of their needs are met. Allen and his staff were the most professional to deal with during this process. They were very detail oriented, quickly responded to our emails, there were never any uncertainties as to where things were in the process. The utmost in professionalism and customer service.

Two gentle men took my grandpa from his home today after he passed. (I wish I could remember their name) My cousins, brother and I watched how they so gently they got him ready for the ride to the funeral home. It was the most gentle and loving care for his body. Flintoft's Funeral Home helped my family when my mother recently died. We previously had experience with another funeral home for another family member, but Flintoft's surpassed them in many ways. As a former worship coordinator, I had worked with many other funeral homes. Flintoft's was the absolutely BEST! They were competent, empathetic, very knowledgeable in all areas, and with many faiths and had resources to help us in ways we didn't expect. They made a very difficult time and the chore of making arrangements very easy. There was no pressure, and Allen was a very good listener and wanted to be sure we got what we wanted to celebrate the life of our mother. I won't to into extreme detail, but--with a recent family memorial service--there evolved a case of the Missing Floral Arrangement. The florist claimed delivery. The family, however, never received the arrangement or attached card. After a back-and-forth, time-consuming effort on our part (the floral arrangement senders), Flintofts--specifically, Allen Flintoft, took the high road and resolved the issue. Clearly, this was his customer-focused, solution-based approach. I now understand why this family owned business is now in its third generation of ownership. They truly understand that making sure client families are happy will bring business back, time and again.

I used Flintoff's to arrange for the burial and funeral for my wife in 2013. They were as helpful and supported as they could be. But their support doesn't end there. I recently needed them to help restore the grave stone which had sunk into the ground and we couldn't keep the mud off of it. Flintoff's jumped right on it and did a wonderful job restoring it. Tom Flintoff and his staff meet their clients at a most difficult time. Each one of them was caring and helpful. My experience was that Tom made me aware of the choices available to me but did not push to up-sell in any way. I would like to thank the family and Staff at Flintoff’s Funeral Home of Issaquah. This has been a long time coming but it was a challenging fall of 2017/2018 which I could not bring myself to write about. We lost a sweet Grandbaby, cherished Grandmother, and wonderful Uncle all in the span of November to early January. No matter how emotional, or heart broken we were the staff at Flintoff’s handled the arrangements, and emotions with grace and understanding. Tom and Allen Flintoff provided amazing support and care. Letting us know at every step that our loved ones were being handled with care, respect, and dignity. Michell talked me through all sorts of arrangements, and remembrances. Understanding when I just could not make decisions and needed just to follow her guidance. There is not a better place to care for your loved one’s than this wonderful group of caring people. The Flintoff family have been providing their love and caring support a 6 generations of my family have moved through life. Thank you for being there for us. We knew we could always count on your family to help us with our families final needs.
