The Evergreen Funeral Home and Cypress Lawn staff was very professional and very caring for the difficult time of loosing a loved one. My grandma had to be transferred from North Carolina and everything was able to be prearranged via phone and email. The service and burial went beautiful with no issues. It all went as planned. Every staff member saw to each detail regarding the service and what was needed by the family even to the smallest member of my family. I am so appreciative of their highest level of care. The facilities are very beautiful and well taken care of with a gorgeous view of the mountains.

I didn't use their services but felt I needed to let you know my experience. My father died on the 10th and I was told to give evergreen a call by the chaplain at the hospital she told me they would treat me great. So I called and asked if they could do a military burial at Tahoma and asked if I could get a price quote. She told me she was new at that she would have someone call me asap. She asked for my name and my father's name and the hospital he was at. I waited almost 2 hours before I started calling other funeral homes. No big deal right??? WRONG!! I NEVER GOT A CALL. I decided to go with someone else. No big deal till this point instead of calling me for information they sent someone to pick my dad up. If it wasn't for me writing the name of the people I did go with and give the nurse my number my dad would have been taken. They couldn't be bothered with calling me but they did find time to try to steal my dad!!.

Funeral director Levi Sutton is an amazing and extremely supportive individual who helped us through every step of the way, even with such short notice. Levi consistently insured that all details were addressed and solved every challenge that arose. At a time of great stress, you relieved us of those heavy burdens. Excellent service. My brother and I came to Evergreen Funeral Home to finalize funeral arrangements for our mother who is still living. We came without an appointment, but were taken right in and made to feel welcome. The person who helped us was Lana (Svetlana). She was able to help us learn what my mom had arranged in the past, and what still needed to be done. Though no one necessarily wants to need the service of a funeral home, i would certainly recommend Evergreen Funeral Home. 10/31 update Very thankful for the staff at Evergreen Funeral Home. Mom passed away on Oct 12th. They worked to keep us informed of their process and coordinating with our Funeral Home in Pennsylvania. Would certainly recommend using their services.

Levi Sutton and the staff at Evergreen Funeral and Cemetery were kind, thoughtful, efficient, and professional. We couldn't have been more pleased with their care and the lovely funeral and graveside services. The black hearse was new and looked so nice.

First they went under new management and buried someone else in my parents lots. They said they renumbered the whole cemetery, oops. Imagine having to prove you OWN two lots and then having to pick lots not close to my parent's parents and other family members? It was a horrible experience. Then when I needed to actually bury someone, I asked to renegotiate the original purchase (not a reimbursement but give up one lot to pay for the additional expenses of the other), they said they don't do that. Calvery Cemetery does. Remember that - especially when buying and then not using your lot(s) for 30+ years.

We have used Evergreen for all family memorials, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Really like the staff here. We've especially worked closely with Levi and Lana. Although losing someone is very difficult, they answer questions and attend to the myriad of details to make it a smooth, thoughtful, and positive experience. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

We just had my husband's father buried here. The staff was uniformly warm and sensitive to just how we wanted things to be arranged. Rei and Lana helped us with decision making, and Paul did a marvelous job as our "celebrant", leading the services including a eulogy which covered the 90 years of his life. The food served at the reception was exceptionally good; especially the charcuterie style cheese plate. Thanks to all.
