Bigornia on 3/12/19 and the Memorial Services/Burial was held on 3/22/19 at Greenwood Memorial Park. We were guided through the process by Sid Ko. We asked a lot of questions about our options. We were given reasonable deadlines to make decisions, and never felt pressured to do so. As our planning proceeded, he was usually available via phone or text to provide whatever information we needed. The staff members were courteous and helpful. Dolores, of the reception office, provided information about parking, the set up of the foyer and other valuable advice. As a result, our memorial service went smoothly.

My family and I had a very positive experience with Butterworth. My father died on a Friday night ad the team at Butterworth was very responsive and communicative throughout the weekend ensuring that arrangements could be made early the next week. After being warned from family and friends that funeral homes constantly try to up-sell we were happy that the team at Butterworth listened to and accommodated our needs without adding additional pressure. Furthermore we had special requirements for a Baha'i funeral which they accommodated. Highly recommended.

Losing a loved one is difficult enough but all the staff were kind and respectful. Mr. Ko explained and walked us through the process patiently. We felt the care given to our mom. As sad as the reality is to lose more family in the future, we would call Mr. Ko again.

Good job on the actual preparation and services day of interment, but horrible communication and lack of follow-through before & after. Not what is needed or expected from an organization that should shepherd a grieving family through a difficult process. Their after-hours emergency phone service is awful, nobody responds. They don't know the newspaper's holiday schedule and give wrong information, as if they've never encountered a 3-day weekend before. And I'm still waiting for some information that was promised, and have had no response to 2 follow-up emails. They added to my stress rather than relieving it, despite all the marketing materials promising they are "fully committed to service beyond expectation."

I was fortunate to have Sid Ko’s help when my 103 year old aunt passed away. Everything went smoothly and it made it easy for me. He also helped with the exchange of an urn that had a defect

She was unflappable and patient even with changes at the last minute. She and her helpers were a welcome presence at the Memorial service, and saw that everything was in the right place. The flowers, guestbook, and catering service were all excellent. I will be pleased to work with you in the future.
