Every predatory they take advantage of people at one of the most vonable times in a person's life. This true of all mortuaries. The cost of all items are outrageous. You can buy most things for far less, but who has the time to shop around.

I had a very pleasant experience setting up my funeral plans at Valley View. All the staff (especially Enrique) was very helpful and mindful of what I wanted. They didn't try to "up sell" me on items or services I didn't want included. And I love the blue casket we picked out -- perfect for anyone who's a BYU fan! I wholeheartedly recommend their services -- do it now so you can plan your own funeral and not leave it to your kids!

Such a beautiful location for eternal rest. I'm from California and I went to visit my cousins grave and the grass is dry and the water fossits had no water whatsoever. Why have a water fossit with no running water?

This is -7 stars btw. They need security or something. My parents headstone has had tire marks, alcohol and trash around their spot every time I go by which is twice a week or more. Their headstone was not cheap, and was paid for in advance by my dad himself. I mean what headstone is cheap and someone who is driving over it will eventually crack their headstone. Please do something about this. It's ridiculous and so disrespectful.

This place throws away the gifts/flowers families leave for their loved ones. As soon as the next day, After Memorial Day, they have workers go out there and throw everything away...

My mother’s funeral was prearranged .. They didn’t press the button to tape record...So devastating ...My daughter sang her favorite songs with no recording ...Same as if a wedding had no copy of the event...Not happy at all..

My husband and I had our lot picked out and paid for when he passed away. To my surprise an additional $ 2,000 was needed to open the grave. I switched to Veteran's Memorial and couldn't even get help from Valley View to sell my lot.

Our family service counselor was Walt Sanders at Dignity Memorial in West Valley City. He explained all of the different options for our cremation services. He was so friendly & made everything so easy. We decided to prepay our contracts (with a 10% discount for Veterans) and the whole process only took about 90 minutes. We were also furnished with extra copies of each contract for family. Glad it's done & working with Walt was great.

My daughter was senselessly murdered . She was taken from us before we had a chance to say goodbye. Valley View Memorial was very sympathetic and understanding to our needs. They let us sit with her for a few hours. Letting her family say things that were left unsaid and saying their final goodbyes. At the most difficult time in our lives they were there to help. DO NOT order a headstone through them. It's been a year since my father passed and 10 months since it was purchased. The headstone was delivered 6 weeks ago. After weeks of calling and leaving messages without a call back, it was finally installed today. It wasn't the color that was ordered. Their solution... Take it out and correct it and replace it in the Spring. Completely unacceptable.
