I appreciate how caring and compassionate they were during my mom's funeral. Soon after my mother passed away, my sister lost both her mother-in-law and father-in-law, and they were shown the same love and attention. Since then, they have helped with my own mother-in-law's funeral and others close to me. Their facilities are beautiful and everything ran so smoothly. I am also impressed by their efforts in the community and the help they have given others.

I have to say I was disappointed in the care my mother received. My father was cared for by them so we went with them again. No personal touches or guidance. My mom looked pale, nail polish she had been wearing was chipped and left on. Just the little details were missed. They didn't proofread the obituary to ask us if there was other people to include and in our grieving state forgot siblings of my mom. The programs had to be redone twice because they didn't follow the written outline. At least this time, at the grave, they had a cover. For my dad it was raining and no protective cover was set up. Price was comparable. So you might want to shop around.

The beautiful people at Sunberg Olpin, are the most sensitive, kind, understanding, and caring individuals in your most vulnerable time of need, they really care about what YOU want. They treat your loved one like their own family and help to reassure you that they are in the best hands. They have helped us with a couple of family members, and I would definitely say, if your really wanting to know for sure that your family member will be respectfully taken care of, I would absolutely recommend Sunberg Olpin, they are wonderful! First blush was terrific! The Funeral Director, Curtis, and his wife April put my family at ease immediately. We felt that our confidence in them was well placed. The funeral home facility is excellent and beautifully arranged. There are places for privacy as well as areas for gatherings, all perfectly set-up and furnished very appropriately. Best funeral home to work with. They accommodated everything that we wanted and they helped us send off our Grandmother 15 years ago and Father 2 mos ago the way we wanted. Sundberg-Olphpin Mortuary recently took care of my mom and we could not have been more pleased. They were so kind and gracious. I would not of wanted anyone else to take care of her. We as a family made a few mistakes with the program and they were so great to correct them and make it right. Terry was very knowledgable with questions we had. They guided us when we needed it but let us do what we wanted. The florist they used was awesome. Everyone who came through commented on how beautiful they were. They made mom look just like mom. Our mother recently passed away and was attended to by Sundberg-Olpin mortuary. We were very happy with them. Curtis and April were extremely kind, caring, and professional while working with the family. They attended to little details while dressing the body like adding more lipstick, etc. to assure we were completely happy and our mother looked beautiful. Their facility was comfortable, beautiful and worked well. It was a very lovely setting for the viewing. My sweet mother-in-law passed away the week before Christmas. We waited until after the holidays to hold the services. The funeral director told us to meet them at the church and they would be there 8:15 to 8:30 AM to set up. The viewing started at 9:00 AM and they didn't show up until 9:00 AM. People were already there and waiting. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The hardest part, they did not record the funeral. We arranged for the recording, we paid for the recording. We have no idea if it didn't work or if they simply forgot(no one was able to tell us what happened.) We were devastated. I have a son that was unable to attend the funeral and he was already having a hard time, not being a part of it. The hardest part, when I called the manager he said he had heard there were problems(I'm not sure why he didn't follow up or call us first) and I expressed our frustrations and he said he would look into it. That was 3 weeks ago and we haven't heard back. Very disappointed with their services and their customer service. This is our 3rd funeral with Sundberg-Olpin, the other 2 funerals and services were great....we have no idea how this went so badly and why so many people dropped the ball.

You'll never feel prepared for when you have to call a funeral home for your loved one. Sundberg-olpin immediately put us at ease. we came in a group of 11, they accommodated and made us welcome answered all our questions, even those we didn't know we had. When we saw our dad we were so pleased with how good he looked. They accommodated our cultural traditions too. I would use them any time unfortune gave me the choice. each member of the team was sensitive, attentive, competent, and helpful. it's awful to have to do this... but they were a sweet part of it.
