Our family wants to thank the staff at Spilsbury for being very helpful, professional, caring, and compassionate while helping us every step of the way planning for our sweet mother, Nedra Warner. Jody met with me on a Sunday afternoon to discuss what plans my mother had already made. When the time came for the arrangements to be made, Tony was our go to person. He provided many helpful suggestions, and what to consider. Ted was a great help at the cemetery as well outlining next steps. I consider them to be my friends. Their building is beautiful including the statue in the lobby. I would recommend Spilsbury to anyone that needs their services. Thank you again, my mother would be proud

I lost my husband three years ago in Henderson, NV. It was a totally different experience dealing with your mortuary. Your kindness and empathy were so appreciated. The tenderness shown while we dressed Mom is an experience I will forever cherish. Having Annie pick Mom up from her home and not being in a rush, just letting us let this whole new experience settle in and her being with us for both funerals was awesome. Seeing a familiar face at both locations was very comforting. And last but not least, you prepared Mom’s body beautifully. She looked herself! All I can say is Thank You. Keep up the good work!

Two years ago when my father passed away, Spilsbury was amazing in every way as they helped my mother plan his funeral and burial. They took time for her that was needed, and were very gentle and caring in handling all the sensitive arrangements that are part of losing a loved one. They were loving, thoughtful, and professional in every way. Then just recently, I had a similar experience as my children and I had to plan the funeral and burial of my ex-husband. Spilsbury worked with both families to facilitate sensitive feelings and simplify what was a very difficult time for us. I felt at home in working with all the staff at Spilsbury and would trust them with any of our future needs. Our gratitude to all they did for us during this difficult time will always be remembered.

From the time Mark Heiner greeted our family imitating the typical comical fashion that grandpa always would, the entire experience followed suite and was as personable as grandpa was unique! Ted Spilsbury, in his typical charming fashion extended every courtesy possible meeting the sometimes vast scale of needs just as quickly as they arose. It was comforting knowing the care that grandpa and our family were in and that the funeral directors were not only serving with their time but also with their hearts. I’ve never had anything but the best experience with Spilsbury’s! The entire staff was considerate of our feelings and went above and beyond to give us the very best information and treatment we could have asked for. They were very helpful but and offered advice but ultimately left the decisions up to us. I’ve lost a husband and both parents and all the services have been handled by Spilsbury’s. Ted, Vivian, Jody, Racen and Ryan Randall were the absolute best. In hard times when emotions are at their peak they were compassionate and made us feel like we were the only ones that mattered. We weren’t rushed or made to feel like we were taking too much of their time. I’ve got nothing but the up most respect and love for the staff of Spilsbury’s. Amie in the office, thanks for your help. We appreciate you all. I would highly recommend them to anyone in their time of need.

I am Dora Kamalu, spouse of the deceased. Maile Roberts, who owns this google account is our daughter. I can't say enough about the fantastic way in which the Spilsbury folks handled my husband's funeral, from the way his body was prepared to the planning and the day of the funeral. They were kind and understanding when we changed our minds about the date twice. They took care of literally everything leaving me and my family free to plan my husbands funeral and graveside services. Ryan, who worked with us,helped me to understand the process and made helpful suggestions. Actually, I knew my husband was terminal for over a year and I checked out Spilsbury a year ago because I was not impressed with how the body was prepared at other local funeral homes where I had attended several funerals. I was told that Ted Spilsbury was an artist and he truly is. My husband looked so nice.
