We recently had to experience the tragic passing of a son of some dear friends and neighbors. No one ever wants to have to experience such a loss but the folks at Jenkins and Soffe helped make the tragity as wonderful as possible. The viewing was well organized and we felt the spirit and and strength of a loveing Heavenly Father. There were so many people in attendance but you really didn’t notice as the line moved smoothly, comfortably and, most importantly, with love and respect for the family having to deal with such heart ache. I highly recommend Jenkins and Soffe; Jordan and Blake were amazing and they felt like family after our experience with them over two days.

Our experiance with this mortuary was amazing beautiful and spiritual. Our Son passed away at only 5 years old. We called so many mortuaries and they gave us the best price but also ended up the best experiance. Our Son finished with the medical examiner late on a Saturday night and they went out of there way to go pick him up knowing how hard it was for us having him there. They kept our son in a beautiful room when we came to visit and even got a blanket to cover him with his favorite colors. The building is so beautiful and services available are more than we ever expected. The whole time they were so patient loving caring and compassionate for our hard time. we were never rushed and our son was treated with the most love and respect. They truely cared. We love and trust this funeral home and plan to do any services only with them if needed. We have loved our experiance with them and so grateful for how much respect and patients and honestly they have had for us in this difficult time. We are so grateful. We highly reccomend them.

We had a wonderful experience with Byron. He made us feel very comfortable and we never felt rushed or pressured. He was able to guide us through he process during a very difficult time and made the process very easy. The visitation was lovely and everyone felt welcome, the staff was very attentive without disrupting the evening. We funeral and burial the next day went very well. Robert the aftercare specialist helped us navigate through all of the paperwork and items that need to be taken care of after the funeral, this has been a great help to us. The playroom downstairs was especially nice for the grandchildren to keep them occupied and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have worked with Jenkins-Soffe several times through my catering business. They also did the services for one of my best friends who passed away unexpectedly. I can honestly say every single person I've met there has been very professional as well as truly kind, caring and compassionate. Their building in South Jordan is absolutely beautiful and the nicest mortuary I've ever been in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know.

Jenkins-Soffe handled all the funeral arrangements for my sister-in-law and they did a beautiful job. She looked lovely and they took good care of our family. The building is very nice and the chapel was the perfect size for the services. I would recommend this mortuary to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Jenkins-Soffe. They were so accommodating with our sensitive situation and walked us through each step without being pushy or callous. Each person we dealt with there, Claudia, Roger, Grant and especially Jordan went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure this was an easy process at a very uneasy time. I truly feel like they handled our experience as they would the passing of their own family member. What more could you ask for? I will be referring everyone I know to Jenkins-Soffe.

What can I say about Justin Ford and his entire team at Jenkins-Soffe. Through our entire ordeal with the pre-mature death of our sweet son everyone aspect was thoroughly looked after by Justin and his team. They were relentless to ensure that we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the process. Not ever having had gone through this before we were desperately trying to direct our thoughts towards our son and Justin made sure this was the case. Jenkins-Soffe made the entire process so smooth and surprised and delighted us in so many ways. We will always have those memories and for that I am indebted to Justin. Thank you for going above and beyond in making that difficult time less stressful.

The staff are nice, most things went well. Giving three stars to get attention and to hopefully help Jenkins-Soffe make some changes. First complaint, they cut my mother’s hair without asking us, and it was so short that we were unable to make it look like her. We paid a hairstylist $45 dollars to do something we didn’t ask for. The hair “styling” wasn’t good, either. We had to re-do it, and did so with difficulty because of the unasked-for haircut. So that was disappointing. Seems like common sense to ASK permission BEFORE cutting someone’s hair, since you can’t undo it. Huge mistake on their part. Second complaint, Jenkins-Soffe brought tablecloths for us to use at the viewing before the funeral (held at our church). When the funeral was over, as we were exiting, I noticed that the tablecloths and easels were gone and our things had been haphazardly piled on tables in the foyer. It seemed tacky, and they could have at least waited to take the tablecloths and easels until the funeral attendees had left for the graveside service. Like I said, overall we a pretty good experience, but be CAREFUL when it comes to details, because they may slip up on the quality of care and respect for your loved one.
