REVIEWS OF City View Memoriam IN Utah

City View Memoriam's funeral directors are wonderful. They were open to questions and made the process very easy. Also, City View Memoriam's prices are competitive. In addition to having a great staff, it is located on a hill with a spectacular view of the Salt Lake Valley and is right across from the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Moreover, it has a beautiful chapel that needs no additional ornamentation for services. Thank you, Madison and Marjorie, for making our experience so pleasant and for contributing to the spirit of the day.

Wow, what a view! The City View Memoriam has a spectacular view of the entire Salt Lake Valley. The building and grounds are immaculately maintained. The interior is beautifully decorated with hand carved furniture and original paintings from Utah artists. The staff is top notch and made our family feel at ease as we morned the loss of our beloved niece. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience here.

C. Stahura

They never kept one promise made and did not tell the truth on other things promised.I called them on a tues @ 10pm. Promised to call by 9A.M. following day after my mothers death. I had to call them at 4 P.M. . They wanted to delay filling out death certificate till next day. When they did fill it out - it was illegible - so the state called me to fill it out correctly 48 hours later. Put blame on doctor's office for delay . Meanwhile the weekend came and went. When I called them on Monday ( 6 days after death) . He replied " you know the weekends are dead zones" Now on the 3 rd promise of cremating her I was still waiting. Finally at noon ( 7 days after they picked her up) I was able to pick up her ashes. The man that I picked them up from was rude and mentioned a lawyer. Also he came up with another excuse - that there was a " power outage " the night before. Which Rocky Mountain Power said was not true. There was no dignity in how they treated our family. A week later a nice lady called to apologize.

I want to respond to C. Stahura's critical review of City View Memoriam. Actually, this review is about Garner Funeral Home. In June of 2015 my brother and I purchased the property and we have made positive and beautiful changes to the space, environment, management, name, etc. C. Stahura was right then but not today. City View Memoriam enjoys an excellent reputation as evidenced by the reviews we have received since we purchased the property. I invite you to see for yourself.

Our Grandmother of 91 years passed away in February. We wanted to give our appreciation out to Madison who handled everything professionally and courteously and even arranged the coordination of the death certificate and legal requirements for shipping her remains internationally. We found it refreshing to work with the young energetic staff under Preston's management. In a difficult time things were made as stress free as possible. My mother really appreciated the professionalism and youthful energy of Preston and Madison in an emotional time.

It was the perfect location to spend my memorial day. They kept the spirit of the day alive, invited us in to their open house, and made us feel just very welcome. I'm happy to recommend them to everyone, just because of how friendly they were (and how beautiful the location is!)

Marco Perez

These guys have been nothing but delightful, understanding, and accommodating. Not sure what happened with the other reviewer. We were so impressed that we plan to conduct any future funerary services through them.

Beautiful facility, and wonderful people!

Becky Clift

they are very compassionate, only place I called that was willing to make an appointment with me. We cremated our loved one and they let us spend time with him before without charge others places wanted 175 for 30 min, we sat with our loved one for over an hour. I would recommend them for all your funeral needs. This is such a gorgeous facility and the view is incredible.

David Williams

I attended the funeral of a family member here recently. I was impressed by the professionalism and the facilities.
