Made an appointment with Ted Dickey in Plano, TX and visited on a Saturday 05/04/19. .Accord to my understanding I was to immediately receive an e-copy of my prepaid contract. Never received!! In addition, authorized a charge of 33% down payment on the prepaid contract; also not done!! Have left 2 voicemails, 1 text, and 2 emails with absolutely zero response. WTH? Next step contact TX Dept. Of Banking to Lodge a formal complaint! Needless to say extremely frustrated with my experience thus far!!

The planning was disorganized. After our meeting there which took almost two hours, we had to call in to make sure that everything was on schedule, At the service, they played the same song twice. If we had known there was enough time for a third song, we would have picked something else.

Flowers, catering, dvd, and power point presentations were all expertly handled. The whole staff is caring and carried out our requests efficiently. The service was lovely. We have received numerous compliments from family and friends on both the viewing, church service and the graveside service. Shelley Ugarte was very kind and professional. I would especially like to thank the 2 gentlemen who came to the house to transport my dad from our family home after he passed. We did not know that a flag would be draped over him. I am thoroughly impressed with, & grateful for, the Ted Dickey Funeral Home. My Mother passed suddenly, & unexpectedly, April 19, 2019. We are, originally, from Buffalo, NY & I was unfamiliar with anyone down here, regarding making any kind of arrangements. George Lewis was MOST helpful...patient, learned, compassionate & understanding. He helped me navigate this anomalous territory & provided me with insights & perspective. The cost was reasonable & the care provided was priceless! I also met Beverly, who offered help & emotional support, as well. I would highly recommend them for anyone having to go through this challenging task. Not only are they thorough & knowledgeable, but they are gentle, kind & empathetic.
