Ridgemont Mortuary is absolutely the best experience a family can go through when dealing with such a difficult time, such as the loss of a family member, or members in our specific case. Jessica, the owner, is top notch in all categories when it comes to dealing with all things needed to make this process as painless as possible, There are a lot of things that happen in such a short period of time after ones passing, and Ridgemont Mortuary made this transition very easy, straight forward and took care of most everything. Not only that, they did so with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, guiding you and you family through it all. They are complete professionals and are with you from start to finish, even afterwards to make sure everything was to your liking. They are available 24 hours a day to take care of every need you and your family have and or will have. Their guidance along this process is second to none and I would absolutely recommend Ridgemont over all the "marquee" names in the industry. From picking up your loved one after passing, to the final ceremony and after care, they are there with you and go above and beyond. The prices Ridgemont Mortuary offers as opposed to the big name funeral homes for doing the same thing- only better, is why my family and i chose to work with Jessica- the owner of Ridgemont- and their team; not only once but twice. They offer many different options including my favorite, the keepsakes items you can choose from, via the catalog they provide to you in case you want to keep that special person with you forever. Ridgemont did it right, actually they did everything perfect with no detail left out. Unfortunately when that particular time comes to honor your loved one- Ridgemont is definitely a top choice to consider and my family and I have nothing but rave reviews for Jessica and the entire staff. Outstanding people and very personable as well as business friendly. I will never look anywhere else when it comes time to go through this process again. **update 2**not only have these people continuously called me for another customer they have repeatedly gotten our transactions wrong and provided incorrect paperwork. What else will these guys fail to do? On top of that I have noticed they've removed the negative reviews that were here almost a month agi **update** this business uses the Google reviews to guilt customers for simply expressing that this mortuary did not provide excellent service, on top of that i was told to contact James and contacted him multiple times to no avail. I was also given no explanation as to why to contact him, he has yet to get back with me. I am insulted beyond belief because my mother has been out of my presence for almost a month and no one has contacted me in a timely manner about anything and expect me to be cool, calm and collected. I do not understand why three separate people have told me different things about my mother being delivered. Should I have thrown more money at y'all so my mom could be delivered to me? Does my mother and my peace no deserve respect because we can't buy an expensive funeral package? Thank you for making me feel terrible during the worst time of my life. Thank you so much** ******* While workers are sweet, at least in my case, they failed to respond to me in a timely manner on multiple occasions and failed to contact me to let me know my mothers body had not been signed off to them since I was originally getting cremation through Harris county. Spoke to various personnel, to be told different things when it came to picking up the urn and basically were going to have me pick it up when I was originally told it was going to be delivered. Very sure no one will call me when my mother is finally cremated, so I will be sure to get into contact myself. Hopefully no one else in my life dies, as these people are the only option considering the affordable prices. But I guess this is the service you get when you can't afford a whole shebang.

The treatment of Ridgemont Mortuary to our family has been appalling! So sad that a deceased persons biological family is treated so poorly we don't even receive the respect of knowing what has been done with our family member. This company has given all respect to two people that are not even related just said they are. Might want to obtain proof of relationship when deciding who to talk with. His brother, sister-in-law, and daughter want to know where and what has been done to our family member. They have a young lady by the name of Stephanie that showed much kindness but she evidently has no authority.

Let me start by saying if I could give a 10 star rating I would.My family had a terrible experience with a large chain funeral home.Jessica came to our rescue.She got more done in a few hours than the other funeral home did in a few days.She was the most professional,compassionate,efficient,peaceful lady that I have ever met.She spent hours in traffic picking up our loved one.She explained the entire process and she made a very stressful time in our lives as comforting as possible.She has a heart of gold,but charged a fraction of the cost that the other home was charging.She made all of our wishes for a beautiful,peaceful service come true.You could not find a better funeral home or a better person than Ridgemont and Jessica.THANK YOU Jessica!You are an angel!!!!Jerri

Very unprofessional. Ridgemont handled final services for family member. Played games sending emails to my family that lives in Indiana. They must have grown bored with my family trying to get answers because James Reyes stated after 17 emails he wasn't even sure who I was maybe I could contact the family. Guess what I am the family. I am the eldest daughter of the deceased. Ridgemont was called and no one answered open 24 hours my ass. Disrespected period. I would NOT send an animal there much less a human being. 2/4 /2018 update : This place is not even with BBB. James R lied to my family and myself over and over. Then got 2 or three other people answering emails and phone calls I intend to post those emails as well. Who is running this so called business? James ,Jessica ? Does not matter until they correct my father's death certificate I will not rest. 2/28/18 Still no response from James and Jessica Reyes.

Unlike other mortuary/crematoriums in the area who ship off your loved one to a mass-processing facility, Ridgemont manages the affairs ON-SITE personally. This not only concludes the affair in a timely manner, it provides peace of mind knowing that good and caring people are taking care of your loved one from Step A to Z.
