We had the misfortune of having to select a group to provide services for a funeral for our son. It was a most emotional and miserable time of life for us. We interviewed a couple of people from a couple of places and chose the Harrell Funeral Home group in Kyle, Texas. They were quick to respond, very concerned about our well-being, very sensitive to our circumstances, and, basically, were just absolutely wonderful to work with. Specifically, Wade and Mary guided us through a process for which we were not readily equipped. Our son was not supposed to leave us. In spite of this bit of life misery, we had to muster the energy to have him well-represented. Wade made each step of the process happen with the most minimal of additional stress. The service, venue, compassion, and experience was accomplished with a sense of honor, professionalism, and care. Thanks to Mary, Wade, and the rest of the Harrell staff in Kyle for helping us through this process.

Wade, our director, was wonderful to work with. He helped us through the entire process and kept us up to date on any changes. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and loving during this hard time for us. We needed to have our loved one shipped out of state and view them before the flight. The facilities at Harrell’s in Kyle were comforting and homey. They took very good care of our loved one and prepared us for what we would see. They gave us privacy and were there for us every step. Wade was amazing. We had a double funeral that was unexpected which was incredibly hard for both families involved and Wade was great at explaining everything we needed to know and be aware of. I would recommend him and Harrell Funeral Homes to anyone. The entire staff was amazing and even wore Hawaiian shirts for the service as that was something meaningful to our loved ones. They truly went above and beyond in making this awful experience somewhat bearable. Thank you.
