The one star is because they did a beautiful job on my mother-in law's body. Otherwise, every other aspect of the experience was horrible. First when going to the funeral home to view the body before visitors came, there was an unnecessary wait. Then when the family was able to view the body, there were strangers running in and out of the room where my mother-in-law was because they could not find their loved one. Suggestion: put the names of the deceased on the door of where they lay. This could be done by purchasing holders that you may slide the names of the deceased in the slot then remove it with each body. Second, it was almost like you guys were running an assembly line...families were everywhere WHILE a funeral was going on. How insensitive that was to the family whose funeral was in progress. Im not going to mention how disappointing it was when we arrived at the funeral home for the funeral service of my mother-in-law. Still people were everywhere and we had to wait for the services to start. Lastly, your staff is as unprofessional as they come when it comes to this type of service. Now, Mr. Broady I have seen much better from you guys. I was even considering making sure that you guys handle my arrangements as we have been using Lewis & Wright for my family for years. I know that this is a business like any other business but, this weekend it seemed as though you were herding cattle. I just wished her memorial service would have memorialized the woman she was, and that was that of a Queen. She was very kind, compassionate and loving.
Sincerely,
Sharon Thomas (daughter-in law of Shelia Hollingsworth)
