The people at Floyd's Mortuary are so kind and helpful. During my mother's recent passing, Scott was there for us every step of the way. He offered great advice and suggestions and guided us in planning the most perfect service for my precious mother. His constant communication and support during those first days were so much appreciated. All of our requests were honored and my mother was treated with such dignity and respect. He is a special person with a genuine gift. The ladies in the offices at the Mortuary and the cemetery were also most kind and helpful. I have met with Kelli several times concerning insurance forms and other paperwork. She is very knowledgeable, so helpful and sincerely concerned with how our family is doing during these days. What a special lady! The staff at the Green Lawn Chapel and our driver were all so kind and took such good care of our family. I will always be grateful for the support and kindness from Floyd's during a sad and difficult time for our family.

Ray Ridgeway went above and beyond to make sure our every need was met and exceeded. This was our first experience with death and the Floyd team was really helpful. They answered all our questions and were very caring and compassionate. I highly recommend anyone in the area to use the JF Floyd mortuary.

It took me years to get the nerve to go to the Main Street location to make my own arrangements and I wanted to pre pay them. I was told NO, I had to go to the downtown location to make my final arrangements.

The fact that this place has even a single 5 star review is mind blowing to me. First of all, they didn't even have my father's date of death correct in their records. The funeral service was at best sub par. The family was not correctly lead into the home; we awkwardly stood around and then were forced to sit in the pews until the same lady that greeted us at the door came and got us to lead us to the family room (where we were supposed to be directed to originally). We had made a beautiful slide show of photos to play for people to enjoy while they arrived. The home played a slideshow of photos from some other family mixed in with ours (?!). To top it all off they offer a service provided by a separate company where the home will take the thumbprint and send it to this company that makes metal keepsakes with it. Pretty cool, right? Except the company requires that the home takes more than one fingerprint to be safe that they collect one that can be used. They only took one, it was dark and unusable and we are unable to have any keepsakes of our beloved father. Also, I find it laughable that they have the audacity to charge what they do, for all that they did wrong, when what they handle is so sensitive. Do not make the same mistake my family made.

Floyd's Mortuary has had a long, positive history with our family funerals and burials since the 1940s. We had a graveside service this past Monday for our dad. Gordon, Glenn, Richard, Kelly and the entire staff have been so kind and helpful with planning and handling all the details for our Dad's service. They are keeping in touch with us after the fact to see how we are doing; and to make sure we have the support we need to handle the business aspects for my father and our family. My brother and I really appreciate all of their support during this time.

My family has used Floyd's Mortuary for many years. It was the only choice for us when our father passed away in April 2013. Everything went smoothly from the planning to the actual service. I have no complaints. Our Mom passed away earlier this month (4/6). Everything went very well with the planning, visitation, and service for Mom. Many thanks to Scott Fowler for his assistance with everything. His kind gesture for my great-nephew after the service, allowing him to give a gift to his Nana (great-grandmother) is priceless. I'm sure my great-nephew will remember it for a life time. I thanked Scott personally for his gesture and wanted to do it here as well. I also had a meeting with Kelli and thank her for all her guidance and also listening to my stories of my Mom and Dad. With all my interactions during this time I know their kindness is genuine. Thank you for being there for us and helping us honor and celebrate our Dad in 2013 and our Mom this month.

Very nice staff at the East Main Street location. Visited for a friend this week. The building is somewhat not the nice building that I remember as a little girl. The paint is peeling on the outside entryway porch, the bathroom wallpaper is dated. I think that the facility needs a little upkeep.

These guys at Floyd mortuary are cheap, disrespectful and non-customer friendly. They screwed up both of my grandparents funerals in 2003 and 2006. When they messed up my grandfathers war tombstone they wanted us to pay for the corrections- do not use them!

Scott, Jennifer, Wayne, LeRoy, Robin, and the rest of the staff were excellent and very professional taking care of my Mama's 3/9/17 and my Daddy's 4/29/11 funerals. I cannot say thank you enough for taking such great care of us before, during, and after the service.
