Eggers did a wonderful service for my spouse. The lady that handled the preparations did everything I requested. During this time, when I wasn't sure what was going on, Eggers handled the funeral and service with dignity and grace.

I am highly disappointed with the service from Eggers. We used them for my grandmother's cremation. We had met with the same lady 3 separate times to review the file and make any changes. We had requested 8 separate baggies of her ashes. We did not receive any baggies, we had to carefully do that ourselves at home. Then the most devastating thing of all was that my grandmother's thumbprint was not made. That doesn't mean anything to some people, but I was looking forward to having a piece of jewelry made with her thumbprint. Now, I will never have that opportunity, due to their mistake. Like I told the director on the phone, this lady made notes each of the 3 times we met with her. This should not have happened, especially when your loved one is being cremated. There is no going back. There is no room for mistakes of that magnitude. I will no longer recommend Eggers to anyone.

For a funeral home to be such a big, nice facility, it is sorely lacking in the area of its staff. Today's funeral services are often media oriented, meaning that people would like to show videos, play music, etc. And this does not mean "...only CDs or YouTube", which is what their staff told me 40 minutes before the service. It means you will have people wanting to play videos or music off of their phones, flash drives, tablets, etc. This being the case, the staff either needs to be trained how to do this, or hire someone (or team of someones) who does. Not only did I call a day early to find out what type of sound system capabilities they had at Eggers, but waited three hours to hear back from them, and then was given the wrong information. I will personally never use this funeral home and have told all my family not to use them for my funeral should I die any time soon. Very disappointed in the staff there.

I called and inquired about funeral arrangements for a loved one and never received a call back. Additionally, I attended a funeral for another loved one here and loud music was blasting on an outside speaker. I do believe that this is a well run facility and it lacks class.
