I just wanted to say a quick thank you to John, Debbie, and the rest of the staff that handled the funeral for my grandfather. It was a difficult few days (for a multitude of reasons), but your staff treated my immediate family and my grandfather with grace, respect, and dignity far beyond what I could have expected. The death of a loved one, especially one as integral to our family as Pap, is never easy, but the professionalism, thoughtfulness, and patience exhibited by the staff at Green was the silver lining on our dark clouds of grief. Thank you so much for all that you did.

My younger brother and I had recently lost our Father, we contacted a couple different funeral homes to beginning the process of honoring his life. It seemed like every place we turned was trying to exploit and take advantage of our grieving situation. Each place we visited was like walking into a car dealership shake down. We came across George Irvin Green Funeral Home on our travels and it was a completely different atmosphere. Scott Green didn’t expect us and greeted us as a walked in with open arms! Scott was compassionate and took Mercy on our financial situation. He went above and beyond to helped give our father a send-off to be proud of. Our family was so impressed that us two kids were able to pull off such a professional service unexpectedly with no help. We were extremely pleased with the service we received from Greens Funeral Home. The staff personalized details intuitively. They were there when we needed them but faded to the background and were unobtrusive when we didn't need them. The facility is fresh and beautiful. They have a dedicated play room for children and a separate room for the kids, Full kitchen area for coffee and another family room with extra seating and TV for decompressing. Months after the service they mailed us laminated copies of our father’s prayer cards. Also, once more, a card to ensure the grieving process went well. There is literally nothing at all I can complain about. Words can’t express how thankful I am for Scott lifting a huge weight from our chests and making a very difficult time in our lives easier.
