Beautiful place, great service, but do plan on being there for at least an hour if you are selecting a plot.

Thank you so much Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home for helping create a fitting and honoring tribute for my mom, Flora Manalaysay, who passed away September 1st, 2019. Everybody who knew and attended the funeral service were brought closer and bonded during my mom's memorial celebration. We are so blessed to have been cared for by all of the staff at Skyline Memorial Gardens, specially by Mr. Dan Brewer, who we owe a debt of gratitude because of his extraordinary qualities, he is compassionate, organized, and dedicated and he expertly helped us create a personal memorial for my mom. Thank you so so much from the bottom of our hearts, God bless your service and all the staff at the Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

The people were very kind, considerate and helpful. Did more than they had too. They understood I was out of town and worked very hard to make a difficult time much easier. I can't thank them enough.

Michael Hampton

The staff were excellent. The grounds are excellently manicured and very peaceful. The view of the countryside from the viewing room made a great backdrop for a lovely service. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing staff! Extremely helpful and caring. I had called the night before to request a cemetery layout as it was my mothers birthday and the first time visiting in 12 years, let alone by my self. The lady I spoke with was very compassionate and left a note for the following days crew that I would be in for the map. Even while on there website they claim to be open till 6pm on weekdays, they actually close at 5pm which didn't prevent any of the 3 members on staff to unlock the door and let me in while closing and trying to go home. One of the gals had her coat and backpack on but immediately took the time to print out an additional map and even show me where to walk while marking the print. Meanwhile the other gal located the map printed for me previously and the gentleman reassured me that it was okay while I continuously apologized for keeping them. Overall, a day that was extremely difficult and emotional for me ended with extreme gratitude for skyline memorial. I'm kicking myself for not getting names but they all are amazing and made that very important and special day for me run smoothly.

This complaint is regarding the dispute of land purchase with Shannan Speicher, General Manager of Skyline Memorial Gardens which is affiliated with Dignity Memorial, SCI and located at 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229. I and my husband had the initial meeting with Shannan Speicher on March 2, 2019. In the meeting we told her that we wish to buy a piece of land to build a private mausoleum. After we sat down and talked for a few minutes our wishes she stated that first she needed to drive us around in the Skyline Memorial Gardens so that we could give her an idea the site we are interested in. We finally picked up a location that we really like. After returning to the meeting room she showed us some pictures of the mausoleums. Then I pointed to her one mausoleum that we like - the footprint size of that mausoleum is around 11 feet by 10 feet. First question I asked her is how much does the land cost if we want to purchase 15 feet by 15 feet - 225 square feet of land. She carefully use calculator to calculate and told us the total price of land would be $56,250 and without any doubtfulness she told us that $56,250 includes 15 percent of endowment care fund that law of Oregon State requires. On my note I also calculated the unit price on the paper. I asked Shannan ' That is $250 per square feet, right ?' She responded without any hesitation 'That is Correct !'. Both me and my husband took notes in that meeting. We both wrote down on the notes like this :" $56,250 includes 15% of ECF." By the way both of us still keep the notes. She also give us the deadline of March 31, 2019 to decide. Unbeknownst to us when she called us on March 26 indicating the deadline she set for 3/31 is forthcoming and first time in a row announcing to us that the price she quoted in the first meeting is without adding 15 percent of ECF. If she indeed made mistake she should have corrected us right away not more than three weeks later. In her 3/27's email she even wrote to us stating that in the first meeting she clearly did say $56,250 is Land only price and ECF is additional. A BIG LIE !!! I cannot believe she bears the 'General Manager' title and is so unprofessional and has no integrity at all. Besides she (as Dignity Memorial always do) kept persuading us to purchase 20 by 20 - total of 400 square feet of land and stated that if we buy less than 400 square feet the price will not be proportional. I questioned her on the phone if we just want 18 feet by 18 feet what are your going to charge ? She said $121,500 then I used calculator to figure it out - one square foot is $375. I said we had been to East Coast Dignity Memorial which sells the land with ECF included for $250 per square feet. Ridiculously she responded to us on the phone - east coast's land is $250 per square feet but the land on the west coast can be more than $350 per square feet. I was SO SO mad and sent her the email right after the phone call on March 26, 2019. I sent her an email asking quote by email not on the phone. Next day she responded like this: """"Dear Mr. and Mrs. McReynolds, The cost of a 18x18 lot would be $121,500. This is $250 per square foot and Endowment Care of 15%. As we had discussed in our first meeting, I was estimating the costs and the size of the lot and we had to wait for a quote in order to be sure. We received that quote later that week and have been adjusting it ever since. ....................Shannan the above is part of her email as google reviews have limitation of characters you can type in.

They have always provided and continue to provide our family funeral & Burial services for almost 50 years. They have shown such care in all aspects and details of the arrangements necessary when laying our loved ones to their final resting place. I recommend their services to anyone interested. The most beautiful prestigious grounds and view.

Dan, Janelle and all of the support staff at Skyline Memorial Gardens handled the final arrangements for my mother recently with ease and grace. They were always there for me and guided me calmly and gently during this highly charged emotional time. Skyline took care of both of my grandparents and now both of my parents and I will not hesitate to seek their guidance for my final arrangements. Dan and Janelle are passionate about serving others in their time of need.

Skyline was amazing to me and my family. They worked with our modest budget and ensured we were able to get everything we wanted. Special thanks to Dan the funeral Director. He even stepped forward at the church to help the family and worked with me and my family from three different states to help bring my father Bruce to Portland. Our family has additional plots and have agreed to continue to add additional services so we may all reside in the care of Skyline and their beautiful location.

I don't know how I would have gotten through the arrangements for my mother had it not been for Michelle. I so much appreciate everything she did for me.
