Very disappointed with their follow through as a unit. We went in three times and every there was no communication between the next individual they wanted us to talk to about making arrangements. Each person would ask us the same questions, then leave to talk with someone to find the answers. Even when the person we spoke to previously had done the same thing. They were very open to making appointments, but very slow with follow up information. It has been almost 2 weeks and they still have nothing prepped for the online obituary. Their location manager had no answers as to why the delay, or even aware that there was a delay. They are very good at talking the talk, but not walking the walk. No family should have to supervise the facility in the time of loss. They talk about their great remodel, but the service just doesn't match from our experience.

Having needed a funeral home suddenly for the unexpected death of my father, we chose Batemans. Robert was kind and thoughtful to us from the first moment until the completion of our needs there. He took the stress off of my shoulders immediately by handling the details with such grace and thoroughness. The rest of the staff also did an amazing job with services and all that needed to be done. The facility is very nice, and attentions was paid to all of our needs. I would definitely use Batemans, and request Bob, again!

Bob handled everything for us and made our grieving process much less stressful. Everything was top notch and beautifully presented. There’s not a lot of joy during funerals so it is nice to deal with people that care and respect that.

Working with Bateman Carroll was a fantastic experience. We worked with them when my dad passed away. I would like to mention specifically that we worked with Joni Walters. Going through the grieving process can be overwhelming, but Joni was amazing to work with. She was organized, detailed, respectful, and non-intrusive. There were some meetings we attended, and was sort of in a fog with everything just due to the life event, but Joni would follow up with a detailed list of the meeting overview and listed specifically what we needed to do which was very helpful. We weren't quite sure what to expect going through this process, but the experience exceeded our expectations. The Funeral service was spot on. Joni did an excellent job at drafting together a vision of what we had for the service and the execution was excellent. We look back and wouldn’t change a thing. I would highly recommend their services and would definitely use them again (hoping we don’t have to for a while).

First, the services provided were good and the employees were all wonderfully nice as they collect piles of money from me. Funeral homes often work with a captive and venerable clientele. Therefore, they have a higher obligation to charge fairly for services and products. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home does not meet this higher obligation. The caskets are far, far too expensive and Bateman Carroll could offer caskets for far less and still make a good and fair profit 25% profit on each casket. Luckily, we went outside the home and bought a wonderful casket for Cosco online. It saved us over $1700 dollars and arrived on time and was beautiful and wonderfully built. The director was not pleased that we purchased a casket elsewhere and certainly did not inform us that purchasing a casket elsewhere was even an option that could save us thousands. The other services provided turned out to be about 20 percent more expensive than other funeral homes in the area. This high level of profit is not acceptable, given the type of business. I would not use a Bateman Carroll Funeral Home again.

This is a corporate owned funeral home. You should call around for pricing before making a decision. The staff at Dignity funeral homes get a paid a commission if they are able to talk you into one of their packages. Funeral Directors are tracked on how many of these packages they are able to sell. It is called their "Dignity Take Up Rate". There are plenty of local family owned funeral homes that will handle your arrangements for a lot less because they don't have stockholders to please or a CEO that takes home an annual bonus of over one million dollars. Do your own research!
