When we shopped online, the online vendor suggested we call Newcomer Funeral home for the funeral service which is thousands of dollars less than Calhoun for the funeral service. Buy your casket online and call Newcomer for the funeral home service which charges around $2695.

Speaking on my behalf, I declare that the services rendered to my family were 10+.Such were as they were in the past with the late Owners Mr J. Stewart and Mr Billy Calhoun overseeing the details. Recommend that a closer eye be given to the appearance of interior furnishings. No issues with the attention devoted to my family. Such life event occurrence demands kindness,compassion and understanding and such was given by ALL staff that I encountered.

On June 11, 9-9:15am, I contacted SC Funeral inquiring about pre-needs/pre-planning services and as of this date 6/25, I have yet to receive a call or acknowledgement. I contacted 2 other Funeral Homes and both responded within 30 minutes from my call and provided excellent information. Is it SC arrogance of monopolizing all people of color funerals in the Akron area or poor business practices?
