Buyer beware! I ordered an arrangement from obers florist back in January for niece and nephews grandmothers funeral . After several calls no flowers no refund. Buyer beware not worth the stress!

Just had the most amazing meeting with Dave Tackett. He was super compassionate and organized as he gently walked us through the myriad details that feel so overwhelming during this difficult time. Plus there was no slick sales presentation! All pricing was extremely reasonable and well laid out and I left feeling like Dave had done everything in his power to help us logistically, financially, and emotionally.

This was the first time I have had to deal personally with a funeral home. I believe that these people are the most caring, compassionate, most down to earth. The staff was GREAT! So sweet and caring. My brother looked so natural and the staff was so pleasant and courteous to all the our family and friends. My grandmother passed away while we were out of town and we were shocked to discover her son and daughter-in-law were not planning a funeral, much less even bothering with an obituary. I repeatedly tried to call the director to arrange a visitation before burial only to play phone tag or be told he was in meetings all afternoon. I finally sent an email with a host of questions and was told that since I was not immediate next of kin they could not answer them. My grandma was buried before I could see her. Their website boasts a low price guarantee. Spend the extra and go to Tobias.

While the staff were professional in handling the funeral arrangements and death of my father, they waited an entire month to send the paperwork to my father's employer so that my brother and I could collect life insurance. His death was July 25th, and I am still waiting on the money due to the funeral home's insurance company simply not caring enough to send the paperwork. Keep in mind this being 2018 and us as a species no longer needing to deliver mail by horse drawn buggies. So, this has thrown a wrench into our life and we have been forced to foot the bill for over a month and a half, and it appears we'll have to wait a couple more weeks because they finally got around to getting the paperwork out a few days ago. So, if you are expecting an inheritance, life insurance, or a 401k from a deceased loved one, keep in mind that it will be a far bigger concern for you than it will be for them. Their insurance company pays them out straight away. You'd be better off walking the paperwork to wherever it needs to go.
