We recently lost my 100 year old grandmother and Avance funeral home went way beyond our expectations. They have made our loss bearable and helped us make some hard decisions. This process was a very long one as a lot of extra stuff needed to happen in order for her to be cremated and they had to work with the doctors, insurances, titles and even with the jeweler as we had some made in her honor and they took care of ALL of it! I would recommend them 100%!

Careless attention to detail. Keepsake handout of the beloved had the year 2016 misprinted as 2106 two of three times. Lighting was terrible. Speakers for the memorial were lit by cold overhead "office" type lights. No warm ambient or focal lighting where needed; including for the lovely memorial flowers sent in by people paying respect to the deceased and family. The flowers were woefully displayed without lighting or thoughtfulness.

Everyone was great at Avance Funeral Home when my dad passed away in March. My dad was a friend of Paul Avance and he took great care of us. They made the funeral planning less stressful and the grieving process easier. I would recommend Avance Funeral Home to anyone.

Very nice home and good options, like being able to see the funeral on a closed circuit system. They offer coffee, for free, but charge for bottled water. I found that a bit strange.

I too was lied to. They will promise you whatever you want to hear and once they get your money, they blow you off. I specifically requested a keepsake of my mother which they promised they would order as part of the "package". It's been 3 months, I've emailed twice and called and they will not respond. Instead of admitting they screwed up, they ignore me. It's reprehensible that they would treat people like this on the heels of such a personal loss. Webb-Noonan handled my cousin's funeral beautifully and I had a keepsake within 2 weeks. These people are unprofessional and uncaring and shouldn't be in the business of dealing with people.

This business is truly unique in the way that the family is treated like one of their own. They listen and care down to every detail. The building is beautifully decorated as are the grounds outside. Nice people. Nice place.
