This place went above and beyond for the services following my father's passing. The loss of your dad is hard enough but Stephanie took the time to come in on a Saturday evening to meet with my brother, sister and I. She helped walk us through making the obituary, guiding us with readings and songs for the funeral, contacting the priest and helping us with flowers and picture boards too. She is very caring and kind hearted and would HIGHLY recommend Gilbertson's to everyone!

After my father passed away, Stephanie and Lynn helped out tremendously. They were kind, considerate and comforted me in that painful time. I had never had to put together a funeral before and Stephanie helped me every step of the way from the viewing, flowers, urn, food, and obituary. I am so thankful for the Gilbertson Funeral home and all of their help with everything. That was one of the most painful times in my life and they took away a lot of stress at that time. Went to a funeral for a cousin. Who had passed. I gave the mother of cousin a hug and Stephanie the funeral decor grabbed my arm and stated it's not the time for that. Very embarrassing and insulting. She then proceeded to tell me, my husband, and daughter to sit down in these chairs. We ended up not even entering the service with all our family. Shame on Stephanie the funeral directors insensitivity to the extended family. The day was upsetting enough without you making it worse.
