Although I cant give a recommendation based on a service I had with Jenkins. I can say this with honesty and truthfulness... Carl Jenkins trained me when I was a young funeral director fresh out of school. I retained everything he instilled in me and I am a successful funeral home operator because of what he taught me. If you will look at the reviews on our website and see that we go 150% for our families...it is because of the values he laid down for me early in my career. I also worked in the Hickory market and can say that Jenkins is the best of the best. In October I joined Jenkins Funeral Home as an Aftercare Coordinator. I took this position because I feel strongly about the importance of preplanning. BB (my grandmother) had done this before she passed and it allowed us to focus on each other and healing in that very difficult time. By preplanning you are not only relieving the financial and emotional burden on your family but you are also locking in the continuous rising prices of funerals. Beautiful place. Worse service I've ever seen and received. The staff jointed the service...even sat down and ate with the guest. No help with the equipment, mic had dead batterys and no one could work the projectors. If you plan on using this facility...please get everthing in writing.. They did a wonderful job with updating there facility...and they have no issues stating that. But over all they wonder why there's no Re occurring services from our community. I rate 2 of 10...2 because of updates. Minus 1 for broken agreements. Thanks for the unfilled agreement...
