Stopped in for the open house a few weeks ago. The place looks and FEELS like home. Completely updated with a soft, warm feeling. Everyone working there was kind, welcoming, and compassionate. As a death care industry professional, I highly recommend David Trivette and the entire staff at Hankins & Whittington.

I attended a funeral for a dear friend at Hankins and Whittington. I was an acquaintance of one of the funeral directors, Joel, not a friend. I was distraught over the loss of my dear friend and mentor and was focused on paying my respects. Joel INSISTED on yapping about himself to me and I was able to escape. Then Joel acousted me TWO MORE TIMES! It was so bad my friend finally asked, Who is that guy? Why does he keep bothering you? It was the worst funeral experience I've ever had. Worse than a deceased 3yo in an open casket. I was in shock. All I had wanted to do was mourn my friend with his family and friends. My final farewell to my friend is forever tainted by the UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR of Joel. Joel's behavior was selfish and childish. I used to refer H&W but now, not as long as Joel is employed there.
