Turned a loved ones wake funeral into an absolute circus. Had no regard for her last wishes, changed legal documentation to cover things up, & flat out lied to my family. I am shocked they are still in business. People still approach me in disbelief over the mess they made at this wake & funeral from 4 months ago.

After 95 years on this earth, my dad recently passed away. I went to Casey McCallum Rice on Nelson Avenue and was greeted by Carol and Gene. Right away I knew I had chosen the best place to honor my dad. They went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and had anything we needed. They were even able to get the Navy at the cemetery to honor this WW2 veteran within 24 hour notice. During the most difficult time in our lives, everyone at Casey McCallum Rice went out of their way to make things as easy as possible for my husband and I. With the passing of our son, we were grief stricken and numb. Gino guided us with all of our selections with tenderness and compassion. At the overwhelming amount of people lined up to pay their respects, they quickly opened the room divider to accommodate the large amount of visitors and printed up additional memorial cards.This has been the third time that we have used thia funeral home and have.never been disappointed.

This was one of the worst times in our lives. Laying to rest my sister who was only 56 years old and died suddenly and at home was unbelievable. From the moment we meet with Gino, Tim & Carol at Casey McCallum Rice they made us feel comfortable and confident. Gino listened to our concerns and wishes and met everyone of them with the care you devote to family. Tims’ hugs and concerns each time we saw him were comforting. Carols’ work to get all the paperwork correct was a task taken off of our shoulders. Two days ago I put my Godfather to rest and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way this business treated my uncle. We received extra time for the wake and I really appreciated that. Along with that the director Gene noticed we were running out of memory cards and extra copies were made with no charge as we grieved. Overall we were respected and nothing was rushed as it should be. Thank you for everything. My Godfather would have been thankful the way you have treated his wife and family.
