My former partner and I just had the funeral for Mom my mother in law. We chose Parcels as we have a home in Absecon. From meeting with Steve Matt is and making all the arrangements we felt very comfortable from the start. Steve helped with all our questions handled our pictures and made a very difficult time feel comfortable. If there is a best part to a funeral it was the morning of the funeral. I was the first one to see her and I have been to so many viewings in my life but never have I seen a more beautiful person in a casket. She absolutely looked beautiful and looked like she was asleep not dead. She was the best looking deceased person I have ever seen. We needed to see her look good but we were all so thrilled to see her look beautiful. Everything was just right and Steve made sure it was. We thank Steve and his staff for giving Mom the best funeral and making her look so beautiful. Thankyou from myself Frank Grotolla Michael DAugistine and the entire family.

Last year my 30 year old daughter passed unexpectedly and tragically. We were beyond distraught. I couldn't think about anything except my daughter was gone. Steve took care of everything for us. I didn't want her staying alone an hour away, Steve drove that hour to bring her back here. Steve made sure that her Fiancé, her father, brother and myself got to see her and say goodbye without any interruptions and without any time limits. They made sure my sister who had stage four pancreatic cancer was greeted immediately and seated comfortably. The large number of visitors were all treated with kindness and respect. There was nothing Steve and Heather did not think about. Putting your love one to rest is never easy, putting your child to rest is inconceivable. Steve and Heather went over and beyond for us and I'm eternally grateful that in a time when I could not think that they walked us through the process with respect and love. One suprise which was very special is a memorial Christmas tree where everyone gatherers and honors their loved ones in a beautiful Christmas ceremony. Very beautifully and emotional evening. Thank you for taking such loving care of my singing Angel

Mediocre at best. The owners were on vacation when my beautiful Mom passed away on 8/10/17 and we were not treated with the respect we deserved. I pray my Mother was treated gently and with respect. I had to Facebook Message the owner to get answers to questions. It took what seemed like forever to get my Mom's ashes and death certificate. My 90 year old Dad was so distraught about not getting the ashes home quickly. I know they had them sooner than we got them because I held them 2 days before we received them. The death certificates were ready to be printed the day I held my Mom's ashes and I asked if they could be printed that day. I later found out out through the owner that the office that prints the death certificates had run out of the special paper needed. Why weren't we told that by Stan or Leigha? I thought Stan was incompetent and Leigha, although young, disrespectful. When I brought my 90 year old Dad to Parsels we were met by Leigha wearing short shorts and lacy footy socks. She went upstairs twice and could have changed her clothing both times but didn't. I told her and the owner she was dressed inappropriately. We used Parsels on a recommendation of a family member who had used them 2 years ago but we would not recommend this funeral parlor to anyone. Compassion was missing.
