My father James DiGiovanni passed away this weekend and the service was conducted at Day Funeral Home. As in most situations for most families, its a very trying time and a stressful event filled with emotions. Day Funeral Home was terrific and is HIGHLY recommended. They were respectful and caring thoughout the entire process and more than willing to make any special requests possible.

Lets try this again. I am not "Nathan", nor do I know who Nancy is. Ignore the user name, it's really Gavin. A few years ago my great Aunt died late at night. We called Days Funeral Home because why wouldn't we? When the two men showed up, one of which was the guy who used to teach at RTCC, my family was showed a great amount of disrespect. Instead of showing any sympathy whatsoever we received questions like "Why didn't you call the place in Northfield?" in a rather aggressive tone. To add insult to injury the two men weren't careful with her body, wrapping her in her blanket and hitting her head on the post. The sound and image of which I see again and again in reoccurring nightmares that will most likely haunt me until I myself kick the bucket too. Again I am not "Nathan" nor do I know Nancy, I am Gavin and hope with all my heart that Day's Funeral Home goes out of business for the heartless disrespect that we received.

I recently attended calling hours for a dear friend. I was greeted with kindness and compassion as was the line of friends and family who joined me to pay our respects. Thank you Larry and Randy for helping to ease the pain and sadness during these difficult times. I am grateful.

Victoria and staff did such a beautiful job on my father service, the set up was just right! couldn't have asked for a more beautiful tribute to him. The directors were extremely sympathetic and accommodating to my family's needs. We will always be thankful to Day's for all they have done for my family.

You could not ask for a more professional, supportive and kind crew to help you through these difficult times. They are truly TOP NOTCH, and I would not put my family and friends in any hands other then theirs in a time of need. I can only hope they are still around when my time comes someday as I know my remains and my family will be treated with only the utmost respect. They were very nice to him, even though he was not nice to them. I am very embarrassed for our family that he did this, and hope that Days never read what he wrote. They have always been very nice to our family.

Day funeral home has been a fixture in the Bayshore area for decades.The staff is professional and kind.They've been a source of comfort and professional service for families during their hour of need.

Everyone at Day Funeral home was so sweet! I was there for a friends beloved ones passing and they went above and beyond. Highly recommend using Day for anyone’s loved ones passing. God bless!
