In my opinion my Mom was not treated with care and dignity. I had a conversation with Shawn who was refusing to assume responsibility for her condition (I won’t go into detail at this time) after transport to an out of state funeral home. After our discussion Shawn agreed to retract his portion of the bill. This was greatly appreciated. UNTIL, Shawn called the funeral home in my hometown leaving a message that I’m summarizing, “ Thanks for getting the family all upset; I am retracting my bill; good luck getting a copy of the death certificate to file.” Not a very professional way to do business.
