Recently my Son Eldon who is everything to our family has left our lives and gone to heaven. We have felt pain before but never anything like this have we ever imagined. I have hated living in Las Vegas because I feel that there are very few good business people here. Laura & Wendy have restored my faith that there are definitely some good people left on this earth. I know that they have heard and seen many tragic events but I feel genuine concern and compassion from these people and in a city full false personalities this is rare. Their professionalism, warmth and genuine compassion facilitated what would otherwise have been a more painful process. With my Dad's passing we quickly realized that a lot of arrangements needed to be made. Dealing with the shock of it all, we weren't ready for that. Fortunately, we found out about Kraft-Sussman by reading these Google reviews. They weren't the closest to where we were (about 30-40 minutes away) but I am very happy we went with them! We met with Laura Sussman who was very kind, supportive, caring, and professional during this time. She listened carefully to our needs and desires, offered helpful suggestions and options, and took care of it all. There were some complications with official paperwork that she offloaded from us and deftly handled. This was a big relief to us! We didn't spend much time comparison shopping on prices, but overall I was pleasantly surprised with their pricing and I think their price list reflects their desire to serve the community more so than to make a buck. (You can see their price list posted on their website.) Overall, very pleased! If you're in mourning like we are, and need to start moving on "the arrangements" but don't want to get bogged down in that, I recommend you give them a call.

As a retired psychologist I have been exposed to many life transitions along with a corresponding amount of individuals that offer support and guidance for those in need. With this acting as a frame of reference I was privileged to asset a friend, and through that process became familiar with you and the services you and your organization offer. During a time of loss people become vulnerable and dependent paving the way for emotions to go in a direction that is not always in the clients best interest. Through your sensitivity and caring nature the trauma of loss was ameliorated and the coordination of efforts to insure a smooth funeral was far beyond anything of a similar ilk that I had seen before.You approached my friend’s situation with compassion and understanding that laid the foundation for trust to be established. You gently nurtured my friend through the onerous task of multiple decision making and always kept a keen eye on costs enabling a balance to be struck between respectful arrangements and economic realities. You were also a master of coordinating the arrangements between the care facility in which my friend’s husband was cared for and the Veteran’s Administration facility in which he was laid to rest. This note cannot do justice to the expertise you demonstrated nor the compassion you provided. I think the value of life is in our ability to touch the life of another - you not only personified this adage but in so doing instilled a memory of enlightenment at a time of passing though which many lives were touched and positive memories created. When my mother was taken to the hospital, I knew her time was near. That very day I received an ad in the mail for funeral home here in Las Vegas. This prompted a search on the Internet. I did not particularly like the style of a company having to advertise their services, but my search brought me to other companies which I reviewed. When I came to Kraft-Sussman, I was greatly impressed to learn it was a family business operated by two ladies. Reading their reviews made me more confident to choose them. My initial call was received by Leah who had a gentle voice and patient demeanor, furthering that I made a good choice. She guided me with paperwork—no pressure, no mention of pre-payment. My mom was admitted to hospice and passed a few days later. We met with Leah and Laura to make the final arrangements for cremation. I have been comforted and strengthened by their patience, compassion and understanding. They have been there for us, no matter the request. I highly recommend them for your moment of need.

Truly a service over a business. My mother was in memory care for Alzheimer's. Hospice informed us that it was time to start making final arrangements. Our Catholic Parrish "unofficially" recommended Kraft-Sussman. Compassion is the first word that comes to mind. Prior to my mothers passing we sat down and thought about what type of services we would need. No pressure and an explication of all services available. Absolutely no money up front. The night of my mothers passing, it was Laura Sussman herself (owner) who came for my mother and personally offered her condolences. Our funeral director "DJ" took care of absolutely everything from start to finish. He walked us through step by step and listened to our wishes. Never was there an attempt to up sell. Even told us ways that we could save money. DJ answer all of our questions immediately by phone or email, no matter how ignorant the questions may have seemed. Being the first time I've ever had to plan a funeral I assumed the big two companies were my only options. The family at Kraft-Sussman are head and shoulders above, not only on price but especially on service. They treated my family and mother with the utmost respect and dignity. I recommend families of all faiths to utilize the services of Kraft-Sussman. They will treat your family as one of their own.

I was frightened and stressed. I did not know what to do about the funeral and burial. I did not know where to begin. Luckily my wife had requested the services of Kraft Sussman in her instructions so I did not have to make that decision. The funeral home contacted us as soon as they received the body and death certificate and scheduled a meeting. At that one meeting all of my concerns were relieved. She asked us what we wanted and had some suggestions. She provided us with a wide range of alternatives but encouraged me to decide just what I wanted. She gave us a check list of what we had to do. After that she proceeded to carryout our wishes and kept us informed of each action she took. We essentially had to do nothing. She took care of everything we indicated we wanted. There was absolutely no pressure to add services we had not requested. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable fee charged. They took care of everything after we told them what I wanted. All of my stress and concerns were alleviated. I was so pleased with their service that I have left instructions for Kraft Sussman to do my funeral.

We were expecting my mom to go home as her condition became worse during her long hospital stay. Even with the expectation, it is very hard to lose someone you love and care deeply about. We had met Laura and Wendy at a community function and had decided they were such pleasant people we wanted to use their services when the need came. Going out of their way, they tried to get access to my mom's WWII service records to secure a veteran's memorial flag even when the records were not complete. They were very patient, kind, understanding and evenncame and picked up the suit for my grandfather when i was unable to drop it off. The staff was very kind to my son. He is a very curious 2 year old and wanted to run around and play. They ga e him a stuffed animal and said let him be. Thank you for being so very accommodating. The services were outstanding, i would recommend to everyone. Tjank you again for everything!

My father was in ICU and I could tell that the time was near so I had selected three funeral parlors in the Las Vegas, Henderson area based on Yahoo reviews but before I could call and get estimates, my father died. I relied on my gut at 3:30 in the morning when I had to call a mortuary and went for the one with two women owners. It was one of the smartest choices I made. Working with these two women was like if your sister happened to own a mortuary when your mother died. There is no hard sell, no sell at in fact, just helpful... what do you need, or, here is what you may want depending on your needs. I had previously arranged the funeral of my mother so when my father died I had some experience and this is a rare company that you can totally trust will not rip you off in your time of grief when you could be vulnerable - I checked prices of everything including flowers and their pirces are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Kraft-Sussman and Laura and Wendy.
