When they say they are caring for the family, they mean it. Let me explain. I am so glad we decided on this funeral home. After my moms sudden passing I had to make a quick decision. Several people I know have had to use their services and I have heard they made things easy. I always thought that was a weird thing to say about a funeral home. My brother lives out of town and had a scheduled meeting he needed to attend, so when I asked if it was possible to coordinate my mothers funeral and burial in just a few days so my brother could make the funeral and still get back home to fly to his scheduled meeting they were very understanding. We really didn't think it would be possible to do in only 3 days, because we didn't know where to hold the service or even have a local pastor to conduct the service. They made it happen and did so without seeming to be rushed, but did it with caring, understanding, and a genuine concern for my brother to make it to his mothers funeral. It was a beautiful service held in their beautiful chapel. I thought they dealt with our situation amazingly. Then when I read the obituary I noticed that they were dealing with 9 other families that had lost someone as well just the day before moms passing and the day of her passing. You would have never known, because it seemed as if my family was the only family they were working with. I thought wow I was never rushed, and they were so compassionate, it never seemed like they were busy with other families. I just couldn't believe they took so much time with me. While reading the obituary I noticed it said Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family. I realized then, they were not dealing with my family, they were truly caring for my family. I can't say enough about them and now I know why others say they made it so easy. They are a group of amazing, compassionate, caring, individuals.

All staff were very helpful and supportive of my Mother in law Margaret when my father in law Peter passed away. I met the staff in person when I came from Australia with my brother in law collect Peter’s ashes. The staff was ready with official documentation we need to fly the ashes back to Australia from USA with detailed information of what to do.

I know why they say they are the most trusted funeral home. I never thought I would ever say it was a pleasure dealing with a funeral home, but I can now say that. If there was such a thing as making this most difficult time easier they have done that. All the staff was very down to earth, caring, compassionate, and helpful. It seemed like they were all family caring for family. I was expecting high pressure salesman because the things you hear about funeral homes, but it was just the opposite. They gave me options and if I didn't want those options it was ok. I was expecting high prices, but after comparing them to others in the area they were quite a bit more reasonable. I am so glad I choose them. I can't thank the staff enough.

They only get 1 star because no stars isn't an option. First time having to deal with a family death on my own (my dad) . They were very rude, rushed and NOT ONCE DID THEY SAY my condolences, or I'm sorry for your loss or showed any compassion towards me. I left there Feeling like a stupid kid who should have known better. As I leave he said something like "thanks for coming in" or "thanks for your business"!!! Extremely horrible way to be treated after suddenly loosing a parent! Then when they called about payment the lady was very rude and kept interrupting the me! I wouldn't recommend these guys for nothing

My sister and I worked with Diane and Jason. Both could not have been more helpful to get through the loss of our Mom. When Mom was in hospice to making sure all process were carried out with dignity and the wishes of the family. Could not been more grateful and blessed to have them to guide us to make the right decisions for our family.
