Chase walked me through every step of managing my grandfather's arrangements and made the process as easy as possible for me while living out of state. He was very responsive and patient with any questions and concerns I had. The receptionists were also very kind every time I called and answered as many of my questions as they could. After my grandfather was creamated, Chase took the time to carefully package his Urn so it arrived safe and sound to Florida. The team at Hoffmesiter Colonial were sincere and helped my family during our time of mourning.

My Sister Irma, myself and family were very pleased with all of the assistance we received from the Funeral Director Liz and rest of staff for our sweet Mother's funeral. Liz was very professional, but added a very warm personal touch. Gwen setting up personal mementos and picture boards added a warmth to the room, along with the beautiful flowers from loved ones. My mother's funeral went well and I was pleased with Hoffmeister until this evening when I received a call from a Jim Hawkins. He said he was a social worker with Hoffmeister, To make a long story short he wanted to discuss with me benefits I received because of my mother's funeral. He wanted to sell me a funeral package. How tacky. To top it off I would receive a free gift of a gooey butter cake. My mother's service was less than a week ago and now I have to deal with a call like this. How sad. Michael Meyers

My entire family felt very fortunate that my mother's visitation was at Hoffmeister Colonial. Our funeral director was patient, thorough, professional, attentive to details, knowledgeable, warm, obviously experienced in all respects, thoughtful, went out of his way to be available, communicated well and also listened, was flexible with our family's schedule, needs and wants, made us feel at home, along with staff helped with details of the visitation such as the display of momentos and the video presentation, went the extra mile to wrap up details afterwards in thoughtful ways, and overall created as positive of a tone as possible to our sadness. We walked away feeling my mother would have been proud. The funeral was at the church and burial at Jefferson Barracks, and it was very helpful that those at Hoffmeister knew the ropes and obviously this was not their first rodeo. The staff all pitched in and were very friendly and extremely thoughtful and helpful, helping us to the end of the day and afterwards in many small but appreciated ways. The facilities were also excellent -- plentiful parking, accessible, plentiful space, thoughtful touches. Thanks for Hoffmeister for helping us through this difficult time.
