My mother and father have been making their funeral arrangements for the last 3 or 4 years. In their preparation, they called the various funeral homes in town, and decided on Dulle- Trimble for two primary reasons- 1) their pricing was fair- too often funeral homes "play" on the state of vulnerability and 2) their obvious kindness and sincerity. While cost is a necessity for any funeral home, it wasn't the primary factor for the owners of Dulle-Trimble and it was obvious during my parent's research that the other funeral homes in town did not share this sentiment. Recently, my father passed away and we met with the Dulle-Trimble family. From the moment we walked into the front door to the final preparations for his services we felt safe, warm, and cared for. We were not treated as "customers"- rather we were treated as fellow human beings grieving over a loss. These people, who didn't know us, greeted us warmly, expressed sincere sympathy, and were there for us whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Losing someone and having to go through the efforts of preparing for the services is never easy. It takes a tremendous amount of energy- both physical and emotional. But the Dulle-Trimble family shared our family's grief and provided support and compassion by giving one of us a warm hug, offering a squeeze to the hand, or sharing a warm, comforting smile. Because of their compassion, they made a tremendous and positive difference as we moved forward with our arrangements. At Dulle Trimble- we were not a customer with a checkbook, we were a family experiencing a loss. They were there for us.

My husband passed away 2/4/18 at 7:10 pm. I spent some time with my husband at the hospital. I drove to breaktime to get something to drink (approx. 5 minutes). Before I was able to get out of my car Kyle Trimble was calling me. All he wanted at that time was to be sure I was ok & could he do anything for me. Kyle asked if he could call the next day. When the day came to make arrangements, I walked in the door, met Kyle & began our plans. It took less time than I thought. Kyle had a list of question for me (luckily my husband & had already talked about our final arrangement). I went into the "casket room", I picked the one that was right in front of the door. When the funeral day arrived .... I walked down the isle of church to my husband. He looked wonderful & so at peace. I couldn't believe he was gone, but the Thimbles got everything perfect. The next day Mr. Trimble met us in another state (with my husband) at the cemetery. It was a very nice set up with a tent, heater, & a throw for me. Once all was done, Kyle had all the documents that I needed to move on with my life. I feel the Trimble Family treated me like part of their family!

Our Mom recently passed away and my sisters and I followed her instructions to have Dulle-Trimble handle the arrangements. We had the pleasure of working with Christy Trimble who surpassed all expectations for professionalism, guidance, patience, humor, empathy, and friendliness. She helped us compose the obituary so that it truly reflected who Mom was. She listened... really LISTENED as we sometimes "rambled on" with family stories - some hilarious others, poignant memories of an amazing woman! Her lovely patience helped us feel comfortable and accepted when we had questions or needed clarity to formulate a group decision. Our Mom's remains were handled with the dignity that she deserved and a true sense of reverence! Christy guided us through a variety of service choices and the necessary contracts and legal documents with courtesy, sensitivity, and "no pressure". Words can't explain how our family was devastated by the loss of my father. Kyle, Christy and Kent were absolutely wonderful to my family. The three of them came immediately to our house after the passing of my father. During the arrangements we met with Christy and Kyle. Kyle was absolutely awesome. Kyle is a kind and gentle man. He would help by adding little suggestions that aided us in making the hard decisions. Christy with her kind words and suggestions helped to make the process easier. I lost my husband quickly. He passed away 2 1/2 months after discovering he had lung cancer. We didn't realize how quickly he would leave us. I called Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home because it was one of the funeral homes my family had used in the past and I am glad we did. Kyle Trimble was very kind and professional. He and his family went out of their way to make sure our wishes were met. I can't imagine that anyone enjoys meeting with staff from a funeral home, but their understanding and support made it less painful.
