I want to thank John Gridsamore for completing an awesome service for my sister Julie A. Swords. The process was March 10-14th, 2016, he helped me through everything since I was living outside the state. That provides such a comfort when going through a family loss. He's down to earth and knows how to make you feel welcome. He fills the gaps that you feel you may have missed and makes you feel apart of his family. I would recommend him to anyone who would like to feel like your working with family while preparing a service for a loved one, rather than a stranger collecting payment. A big thank you to John for everything you've done. Everything you have done is appreciated!

The hospitality wasn’t there. They only cared about one individual and didn’t recognize the mother/sister. I know my nephew was married. The wife wasn’t the only one losing a loved one. They should have sat all family up front instead of reserving a couple rows for family. They should have asked people to move so family could up close to their loved one. They should have waited until the mother got to the cemetery before bring him out to place on his grave. The pastor who spoke could have met with the mom instead of focusing it all on the wife. He never said anything to mother and sister until at the gravesite. Overall, I hope I do not have to go to another funeral in Savannah, Mo and esp not one held at this funeral home.
