My first experience with Baldwin-Lee was in 2005 when my father passed away. I had made pre-arrangements beforehand but the remainder of things that needed to be done was carried out in a very compassionate and professional manner. Baldwin- Lee also handled the service for my brother when he was cremated, Again, I received the same wonderful and caring treatment. I knew then that my husband and I needed to make pre-arrangements for the two of us, and there was no doubt where we would go. I lost my husband in 2017 and was devastated. Due to the comforting treatment I received from Baldwin- Lee, I was able to make it through the days following knowing my husband was in the best of care. They took care of my every wish and made me feel as though I was the only one in need at that time. Six months later, I lost my sister. Her death was very unexpected and no arrangements had been made. Baldwin-Lee made sure that every detail was covered and once again offered me comfort and compassion. I am so happy to say that Baldwin-Lee will be handling my service when the time comes as I know my family will be afforded the same loving treatment as I received. Several of my friends have echoed the same comments.

I want to tell about the wonderful people that went above and beyond for my family during a sad time. My daddy Robert Brooks 1944-2019 used to live in Pearl, Ms but in 2014 I had to move him to Biloxi, Ms to move in with me due to health reasons. So when my daddy finally went to his forever home the Hospice nurse called where my daddy had paid his prearrangement 22-23 years earlier. The first person I talked to was Mrs. Regina Jones, she made me feel so comfortable and basically held my hand the whole way like if I was her family member, from the emails to the phone calls everything. I appreciate her so much. Next was Justin Dalton, he took over for Mrs. Regina (which she let me know she couldn’t be there on Monday) but she also said he knows what she knows and they both didn’t skip a beat. Mr. Dalton made suggestion about things that I wouldn’t have thought of in that situation, like do I want my daddy’s hat back which I did lol. Also he let us know what we could expect since we have never planned a funeral. Next there were Mr.Butch Thrasher and Mr. Richard Bohlman, they both were very professional and made me feel so important about what would happen, to when need to park the cars and what order cause this was a first parent to lay to rest for us both so that meant the world to us cause we were so blind of everything. If anyone ask me about a funeral home recommendation I would tell them Baldwin Lee in Pearl, cause u just can’t get any better service or respect than for the wonderful workers there. So from my family to the family at Baldwin Lee saying Thank u couldn’t come close to our appreciation for all y’all done for us.

I was 17 at the time and as I came from a single-parent home, was feeling so, so lost.
