I am extremely disgusted with the treatment I received from this funeral home. I spoke with a Kevin who was very nice and helpful. My grandfather passed away and he was a WWII vet. Kevin provided me the pricing, took all my information and set up a time to come in and finalize all of the arrangements on Wednesday. I receive a phone call from a Paul who advises me they will not provide services to my family and gave no explanation other then “we just think you would be more comfortable with another funeral home.” I stated that I did understand why they would refuse service when everything was set up. Apparently because my mother (my grandfathers daughter) got on the phone and was emotional, so we were causing problems. If you can’t handle or understand that people are going to emotional during these times, then you are in the wrong business.

My Dear Mom passed away April 21st 2018, in her home under the care of Great Lakes Hospice at 82 years old. With her immediate loved ones, her nurse Jean and her dog Brutus next to her. To say I was an emotional mess, would definitely be an understatement. From the time they came and picked up my Mom, until she was laid to rest next to my Dad, Mr. Tate and his staff never let me down. They knew exactly what to do, and helped me with everything during this unimaginable time. Mr. and Mrs. Tate were extremely compassionate, and I knew this was the exact place where my Moms final preparations should be done. When I seen her for the very last time, I was at a loss for words. My darling Mom, looked so peaceful and at rest. That is a sight of her, that will stay with me forever. Thank you for everything. My Mom is missed dearly, and I couldn’t have gotten through this without Mr. Tate and his team. Rest In Peace, my loving Mom. Until we meet again.
