When my mother passed away we chose Muir Brothers because we heard great things. We were promptly told that we would have to pay for the funeral up front because her life insurance “took too long to pay.” Because of this we were forced to cremate her instead of the funeral she had planned.

Good for website but not finding out about your love one

I cannot express enough my gratitude for the compassionate care my family was given during the recent death of my mother. The staff were attentive to our needs, and allowed us to customize events that reflected Mom's personality and honor her memory. The Funeral Home itself is lovely, and the rooms are spacious enough for a large number of family and friends. We have been working with Muir Brothers in Lapeer for decades, and have always been blessed with exceptional service.

Why does everyone go to this funeral home when someone you loved passed away???? Horrible place to go!!!! I had an awful experiance when my grandma died. Please take my word Muir Brothers is not the only funeral home! Go else where.

I wish I had read the reviews. I've been in customer service 30 years and I hope they consider some changes in the future. They seem to be happy the way they are, however, so I don't see that happening.
