Stephanie seemed more interested in her upcoming vacation than helping a grieving wife whose husband died overnight watching tv in his recliner. This was evident when the announcement posted with the incorrect day and date of the service....but more shattering to me was when we got to the National Cemetery to inter my husband’s ashes they were about to put them in the wrong place! I had asked for a ground burial and they had it scheduled for the above ground columbaria. I was faced with rescheduling interment while all his relatives from New York, Virginia and Texas waited patiently in their cars for the military honors. All because the wrong box was checked. Thanks to the understanding and quick action of the National Cemetery staff, they were able to correct the mistake at the last minute. I was and still am furious about such a lack of care from Kaul Funeral Home.

The entire staff was very compassionate and helpful from the minute I first walked in the door to make arrangements. From the person who greeted us at the door to Katie our funeral director - all wonderful people. Considering it is such an emotional time, they made us feel comfortable without trying to "sell" us services we didn't necessarily need. The home itself is very clean and beautifully furnished. Highly recommend without reservation.

My step son passed away in march 2017 Steve helped us plan the service he gave us excellent service he even matched the price of another funeral home we had ordered a necklace for our daughter to remember her brother the only problem was his mother had put the contract in her name and she called and wanted both necklace just to be spiteful to us well they had to give it to her but Steve knew we paid for it and my daughter ingraved her saying on it so he called my husband and said the funeral home was going to order another necklace at no cost to us I would like to thank Steve who went out of his way to help us and would definitely recommend kaul's funeral home to everyone thanks again Steve she loves the necklace and you made her day

When my mother passed unexpectedly, the family was not as prepared as we should have been. But being relatively mature (at least in age) and from a large family, we had past experience directly and indirectly with a number of funeral homes in the area. We wanted something very nice for mom but were on a limited budget. Kaul Funeral Home in Clinton Township filled the bill immediately in so many different ways. Dwayne and Jennifer were phenomenal. The facility is modern, fresh and clean. They had answers for all of our questions and they had suggestions for outside services. They knew the priest, the cemetery, the hall for lunch, and assisted us at every turn. We were pleased with the selection of cards and thank you notes. We were pleased that they were able to accommodate our every special request. Mom's make up for face, hands and arms, had some special challenges. My sisters and I were really concerned. Dwayne and Jennifer promised we would be pleased and we were more than pleased. Mom looked beautiful and as if she were sleeping in peace. Dwayne and Jennifer weren't around 24x7, so we also had support from other staff members. Everyone was introduced. Everyone was kind, professional and competent. There were no slips between 'shifts'. Everything happened on schedule, without a wrinkle. Even family and friends commented on how thoughtful the staff members were with offering to park or retrieve cars when someone was on a cane or just walking with some difficulty. When you have need of a funeral home, you will do yourself a great disservice if you don't at least check out the Kaul Funeral Home on Garfield in Clinton Township. They provided us with exemplary service at every turn, for which we are truly appreciative. Jim J

Kaul’s is an excellent funeral home. Katie Janes was absolutely outstanding and very helpful. We had told her what we would like and she gave us suggestions. It was very difficult for us but Katie comforted us and was there for us with any questions we might have had. She is truly a blessing
