i am going to a visitation for my 11 year old friend frank he died 2 days ago and i took a toll, this must be a good chapel saying that his parents chose this place since frank deserves the best things possible.

I'm from out of state and Michelle was great to work with. She took the time to explain all the pricing and options to me over the phone, and then again with my sister and mom in person. Our father was cremated and they had an option to have a small viewing beforehand which was very nice. That was one of the big things that made us choose Desmond, as some other funeral homes did not have that option for cremation (or at least did not let us know about it). Everything was communicated and executed very well, which helped reduce stress during a difficult time. It was very nice to know that Michelle and everyone else at Desmond knew exactly what we wanted and kept us informed. FYI, they have an economical cremation option where you can fill out everything online and do most of the work yourself, if that is something you want. I mention it, because Desmond was the only funeral home that we dealt with that had this.

Scott and his team took exceptional care of our mother and our family. During the planning he was patient and caring and helped us thoroughly understand the options for our budget. He also presented alternative plans and ideas for contending with the weather, organizing our memorial lunch, and communicating the arrangements. We greatly appreciated Scott’s affable and pleasant disposition. He was an amazing coordinator and facilitator who gently helped us through each phase. He, Jim, and the staff were readily available if we had any questions or needs. It was a beautiful visitation and service and we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience.

They exceeded all expectations, helped me through every step of the funeral service and after. They have been so kind, understanding of my situation, flexible, and just down right outstanding. Heard terrible story just now from good friend of mine about something that happened during his father's funeral. They Refused to allow a flagged road procession and blamed it on poor road conditions yet the hertz driver went 55 mph in a 45 mph? cannot believe how hypocritical that is. Shame on you!!! They saw several other processions that had flagged vehicles. Unacceptable!!!
