Words cannot describe how lousy this place is. My sister died May 5th of an apparent heart attack. They assured us they could make her look presentable. She looked atrocious. We had to close the casket. The owner, Adam Walker, is just about impossible to track down. His staff won't give out his phone number and he hides behind an answering service. I had to stand outside his funeral home for ten minutes in cold weather to deliver the photographs we wanted shown at her wake. And now it's been six weeks and they still haven't put in a temporary marker to identify her grave site. They won't call back. And they charged us about $16,000 which did not include a limo for anyone but the deceased. These are the kind of people that give the funerary industry a bad name. Go anwhere else but Nickerson Bourne.

We were so very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone at the funeral home. My brother died suddenly. All family members lived at least 2 hrs away. We knew one in the area. A friend of my brother recommended the Nickerson-Bourne. We contacted them and they saw us immediately. The staff reviewed all of the options available to us for burial,cremation,viewing and the financial costs involved. They allowed us time to make our decision. The room for viewing was professionally decorated with warm tones. The furniture arrangement allowed for quiet conversations and family gatherings. The flowers were tastefully arranged Personnel from the funeral home were always present and offered assistance as needed. We did not order enough prayer cards and they immediately printed more for us during the wake,at no charge. After the services we were given a carrier bag with the registration book and Mas that had been brought to the services. The staff then helped us to place the flowers in our cars to arrange at lunch the next day. We recieved a call from Nickerson-Bourne approximately 2 weeks after the service. They were calling to ask how we were doing. They gave us the name and phone number of counseling service that is available for a year, without charge, for any questions . We highly recommend Nickerson-Bourne funeral home.
