Can't begin to express our gratitude to this place for the services rendered for the funeral. Ascia was extremely helpful and walked us through the whole process with compassion and the utmost professionalism. There was never a moment where the "business" side of things interfered with the service which allowed us to focus on the matter at hand. While it was an emotional experience, the service ran smoothly and without a hitch thanks to Ascia. While reviewing a funeral home and recommending one seems a tad odd, when the need arises in the future, we would gladly come here again knowing that Ascia and the staff will take care of our needs in a professional, supportive manner.

The setup of the viewing room was beautiful, they solved an unexpected transportation problem without us having to get involved. During this difficult time of losing my mother this funeral home was very courteous and respectful. IIish Stevens was very patient with us and made the process as smooth and easy as possible. Even though the receptionist can come across as annoyed on the phone dealing with the Mortician IIish made the situation more comforting. I will definitely recommend using them. They did a perfect job with the makeup. My mother looked absolutely beautiful. Thank you very much during this difficult time.

I wish I could erase the following image from my consciousness. The pair of men dispatched by Hines-Rinaldi to remove my wife’s remains from our house handled her by grabbing her by her forearms and lower legs to move her to their equipment. If you have ever seen moving pictures showing how the remains of Holocaust victims’ bodies were carelessly moved, what they did was remarkably similar. It took two conversations and a letter before I received anything beyond a cursory apology or acknowledgement from this company. I am not someone who exaggerates.

Horrible experience. They try to milk your wallet at every turn: (i) they tried to charge an extra $1000 for a car procession from the funeral home to the cemetery (after 30 minutes of arguing, they took off that charge); (ii) they refused to play a slideshow at the funeral home unless it was in the DVD format and -- of course -- for an extra charge they would make a DVD for you (we ended up making a DVD ourselves); (iii) at the cemetery, they did not give the family sufficient time to say good-by and rushed us away so they could get done with the burial quickly. They only care about making money and not about how you feel at the most vulnerable of times. Stay away.

I was told that Hines Rinaldi offered a complete funeral for around 1800.00 from a staff member but when I spoke to someone at the office again they said it only applied if I was Jewish! I cant believe that because I'm another religion I cant get the package, it does not makes sense. They told me that packages for my religion or everyday folks is around 12,000. I am completely floored by this. I'm surprised that other religions are not upset by this, has someone said something to these people yet. I will call another Funeral Home for help!
