Joe and Mike at Ratterman’s we’re compassionate, professional, easily available and efficient. Every detail of my mother’s funeral was carried out perfectly.from the planning, the presentation of her body, the physical space of the room and use of the food area, the video of her life, the transportation to the church, to the handling of the casket at the cemetery. My mother suffered from dementia her last few years of life but she obviously knew what she was doing 23 years ago when she preplanned and prepaid for her own funeral at Ratterman. She made a very wise choice picking Ratterman. By preplanning she saved her family some heartache. By prepaying she made a great financial decision!

Joe Bille assisted our family wholeheartedly. My husband is assigned overseas and Joe knew that my husband will be here only in Louisville for limited time so Joe requested mom's death certificate to be expedited and even drove to Frankfort to pick this up. This year is so hard to the family since both dad and mom died not even five months apart. No one can beat Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Bardstown for their outstanding service. Joe Bille and the rest of the staff helped us on short notice. Everyone at Rattermans was so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us since we are not from Louisville.
