Dealing with the loss of a loved one or family member is always a difficult and emotional situation. I have been fortunate that I have never been in the situation until last month. My biological father, with whom I was estranged with until the last couple years, passed away unexpectedly. My younger brother and I were his own family members. He had no life insurance, no will, never said what he would want after he passed, nothing. I had no idea who to call, what to do, how to plan. Thankfully my neighbor suggested Owen Funeral Home in J-Town. I am so happy she suggested them. Rachel helped me every step of the way to plan and explain everything I needed to do. The visitation was wonderful and the staff was amazing. They even provided me with Thank You cards and just the other day I received mail with information about coping with a loss and information about support if needed. I am so thankful for Rachel and her team at Owen Funeral Home.
