I am so sorry my mother chose you as the service provider for my father’s funeral. Your lack of empathy and compassion, your greed and callousness is the reason many would choose cremation. You won’t get the opportunity to abuse anyone else I love!

I regret doing any business with this mortuary service. They didn't provide any customer service. They did not provide a payment plan. They did not explain that I needed to provide at least 85% of the final cost prior to the service until 2 days prior to the funeral. My dad's body on the day of the funeral, his hands became separated from his body. After the funeral, my family waited in a hot ass limo with zero air for at least 15 minutes. Luckily, I have no more parents to bury but I will never ever do business with these people again. Susan was cold. I felt harassed. She told me she usually require payments 60 days prior....really? Really? Who is going to hold onto a body for 2 months? Once I paid, that is when my dad's body was worked on. Zero and I mean ZERO customer service or empathy. These people SAY they are related to me...and this how they treat family. I will continue to blast O.L. Hughes under Susan's direction all over the internet. YOU DID US WRONG!!!!!!!

I strongly disagree with both reviews. My nephew passed away unexpectedly and we didn't have enough funds to bury him, we explained our situation to Mrs. Prentice and she worked with us throughout the process. She and her staff made it very easy for us. Their presentation was out of this world, my nephew looked very natural as if he was sleep, the staff was very very professional and dressed accordingly with the family and programs were beautiful. I RECOMMEND OL HUGHES TO EVERYBODY.
