Being at Rattermans is like being with family. They have supported us in so many ways. Other Funeral Homes in Louisville treat you like they are just a business but with Rattermans they have such compassion for you during this time of grief. They took care of us when my parents, husband, uncle, and child passed away. Our family loves the staff here. And I plan to prepay for my funeral so my children will have it a little more easy when my time comes. We did this with my mother at Rattermans and it went really smooth. I highly recommend them plus their prices are the most reasonable in the city.

6/10/2019 My daughter passed away Aug. 2015. I was heartbroken for three years. Joseph Ratterman and son was not a funeral home that we ever used. We had a family funeral home that we always used. I even had my son laid out at the other funeral home. After having my daughter laid out here I will never go back, Ratterman and son is now our family funeral home. Our first interaction was with the father who was very kind even when we had not a clue if we were coming or going, we was a mess. All the rest of time we including the two days our baby girl was laid to rest the son Joey helped us. We could not have hand picked more compassionate people. I still grieve for my baby girl (age 32) and always will but she is a child of God and always has been, she was just on loan for 32 yrs. from God and I have to be thankful for that. I will always miss Tara but I understand that is the mother in me and that will always be. My daughter suffered from many ailments she was sick everyday of her life and I have to also thank God that she is safe in his arms and no longer wakes up in pain. Thank you to the Ratterman family for all you did to lead us through the darkest days of our life
